Katie’s Restaurant was on Scott Street - which is near Union Street.

Biden clearly said Katie’s Restaurant.

Research is ongoong, but thus far it is believed that Katie’s closed more than 10 years ago.

Joe, not McCain, is the candidate who is out of touch.

Virtual addresses for Pentium Class (386 - 686) machines is 64 Terabytes. 16 bit segments plus 32 bit offsets)

I don't think segment descriptors get used much in most operating systems. Actually, if segment pointers were 32 bits instead of 64 bits, a 32+32 segmented architecture (or perhaps 24+40) would in a lot of ways be better than a 64-bit linear architecture (use one segment for each memory-managed object and the processor will perform hardware bounds checking). Do any modern operating systems do any such thing?

Big Gaffe Biden

The idea he doesn’t realize that Article I of the Constitution defines the role of the vice president of the United States, that’s the Executive Branch

ARTICLE II defines the VP Roll... JOE IS DEAD WRONG... All that time in the Senate where is the press on this?

Trust me, McCain is NOT my first, second, nor third choice. To steal a line from Jeff Head...I’M voting for Sarah...

I wanted Duncan Hunter in SO badly...

My favorite quote from the post debate:
Greta was interviewing Sarah’s brother and sister at their party in Alaska. The siblings were telling how proud they were of their sister and the great job she did.

Greta asks them “Are you prejudiced?”

The sister freezes and does not answer for a few minutes. “I didn’t hear that.” There was an uncomfortable pause.

The brother steps in and covers for Greta. “Yes, we are BIASED.”

The sister looks relieved and they both laugh.

What made you turn from a liberal into a conservative?

I have always hated the government and loved freedom. Have you?

All who are liberals and think governement works should read “Free to choose” by Milton Freidman which proves governement/socialism doesn’t work.

Colmes is horrible. All he does is interupt and heckle a guest when they are trying to answer his first question—it is SO annoying! What is the point?
Ask a question and listen to the answer and then respond—
The phrase “ Combat TV” comes to mind-
I could never sit there and deal with the harrasment.
Morris really slapped him around-wittle Alwan will need his Mommy to hold him after that, LOL, what a freakin’dork!

I’ll bet this was the most watched vice-presidential debate of all times.

My husband is entranced by her. Well, Todd, I have the same feelings for you. LOL!

I agree. I don’t think too many people are undecided.

But I really, really liked Sarah right around the Iraq/Pakistan question. Now THAT was a Barracuda. Or maybe a mom who has a son in harm’s way. Or both. She WAS peeved off then and that was fun. When she runs for prez I hope to see that more.

I was, then I realized that the idea of a conservative 'hero' coming in in 2012 to fix it all is a joke too. When will 'conservatives' wake up? I realize pretending you matter is cathartic, but really.

I'd like to see any man try and debate for 90 minutes while standing in heels like that. They'd be reduced to a blubbering puddle in the first 5 minutes.

LOL! My thoughts exactly!

I wonder if some people here were unsatisfied with Sarah's performance because they were looking for answers the *presidential* candidate would give, not the VP.

Write in Duncan Hunter then, and have a clean conscience. You know all the amazingly brazen and liberal things McCain has done.

How did we do folks? I didn’t get to watch the debate yet?

FoxNews is calling it a home run. What’s the consensus here?

I picture a cartoon of Sarah dragging McCain into the Whitehouse. He's got his heels dug in and and he's yelling and screaming, "No!"

That would be awesome. I can see it now. "No! It must be a mistake! I did all I could to throw the election, like I was supposed to."

****Tow Ladies won tonight, poor ol’ Joe was jsut an also there. Gwen Ifill showed that she is of a rare breed, a neutral professional journalist when the nation needs objectivity. Yeah, I know, she’s not a conservative, she’s a confirmed liberal, but by golly she was neutral and did a great job tonight! Frankly, I’m gonna put in an order for her book! My great grandkids will find it an interesting read from a black Lady who lived in interesting times.****

Careful....it may be unlikely, but you could end up propping up the next Helen Thomas....
