Excuse me, but I do not give much credibility to Luntz and his focus groups... Most of his participants come across as uneducated simpletons... and liberal nitwits. The fact that they think Sarah won does not give me much comfort. Maybe you missed my earlier post where I referred to them as the "loathsome Luntz Focus Group." My definition of "undecided voters" at this point of the election is "brain damaged."
I don't have any confidence that Luntz is actually capturing the people who will decide the election, but I do think it will be decided by idiots. Whether they will be his idiots is another question.
(Am I too cynical?)

She connected with average American peoplethat is the key in this>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Ding Ding Ding Ding!
Folks, we have a winner in LegalEagle61
That connection was Sarah's debate goal
And she reached it and was victorious.
McCain has to capitalize on Sarah's natural ability to do that.

Chris Matthews tingled with Obama. He felt nothing with Sarah Palin.
Chrissy must be gay, if his leg doesn't tingle when thinking of Sarah...

I think Bidin got more time, but made poor use of it. Palin wanted to go back and discuss foreign policy more and it blew Bidins mind.

I would like to have seen Sarah, quote at least one of the Dems past comments on Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae (and how there was no chance for a crisis) and pin it on them, agreed.
But that wouldn't have coincided with her theme for the future and playing the blame game, which in the case of this financial crisis should be played so it won't recur.

To: tioga
you did alot better than I did.
I gave into the hungries like I always do. sigh.
Good job! - she did just fine!
To: dfwgator
Now that this is done, it frees up Schmidt and others from debate prep and gets them back to the front lines and frees her up to campaign like crazy.
Hopefully we'll see a fundamental change in McCain's campaign after tonight. We can hope.

A tie here was a win for Palin. And SHE was the one who brought up Biden’s anti coal remark.
Biden did a better job of attacking McCain but as Krauthammer just said, maybe that was over done.
