What I want to hear ...
Gwen Ifil: "...and what about your foreign policy experience Gov. Palin?"
Gov. Palin: "I can see Disneyland from Tina Fey's back yard!"

That photo reminds me so much of the picture of Lady Liberty holding the baby that I think I have seen here on FR.

Thank you. Remarkably, that is a great way to look at it. Ugh. I hate all this negativity, but I’m so nervous. I’m glad for that outlook!

Im sick of this attack on Palins experience I hope she stays honest and sincere. That could go a long ways. Don't play his game and guess.
Such as if she is hit with a question that is possibly outside of her scope, with her responding, "Senator Biden, I need to conduct more research on that, or look into that...Whats you're take".
Basic honesty and simplicity is what is wanted in D.C. and honesty is what America has all but lost from those in D.C.

As Sean would say, “let not your heart be troubled”
At her RNC Acceptance speech, no amount of spinning could derail Palinmania. I was most impressed how she looks dead eye into the camera and tells you the truth. If she does that, there’s nothing the MSM will be able to do once that link is established between her and the American people.
Also, we also have to look at this from a style point of view from the uneducated independent-moderate voter. That group who watched Friday’s debate thought Obama won it because he “looked good and in control” while McCain looked “mean”. Guess what? These same people will look at Palin and see the same (or better control) and will be totally turned off by Biden. And that’s something the MSM simply won’t be able to sugarcoat. They’ll just try to minimize it.
If Sarah is Sarah, she will not only win the FOX post-debate poll, but CNN, (and dare I say it, MSN—, nah on second thought nobody watches that network. Maybe Univision?

self ping - check back tomorrow for reviews
(I'm recording it - have been going to bed early lately - if I see she kicked butt, I'll watch it, if it was a disaster, then I'll know it's over and only hang out on pet-threads until after the election)

Same here. We live in Greenville, SC and the ABC affiliate coming out of Asheville, NC is all Obama all the time. Since 7 p.m., I’ve seen two separate commercials from Obama ran two times each. It’s only 7:35....appealing to voters in western NC....but no McCain ads. Figure his polling is showing him in the lead in western NC but I would not take taht for granted. Two years ago, they elected a Dem congressman, Heath Schuler....this worries me about the McCain campaign.
