Palin missed a great opportunity when Biden said “I have a long record in the Senate...”
She could have come back with, “Well, Joe, I’m comforted that at least one half of your ticket has a record to run on.”

Just one favor... Please keep in mind that it’s VERY easy for us to sit here at our keyboards and played the “should’ve, could’ve, would’ve” game. Do you have ANY IDEA the amount of stress she is under right now? Think about that for just one moment... She is kicking BUTT, despite these MINOR points you are bringing up.
Palin did miss a big opportunity though, as Cinnamon Girl previously pointed out. She should have hammered Biden on his statement that he told Israel that they would “have to live” with a nuclear Iran.
Man, Sarah is doing GREAT in a Boston poll. For her to get more than 25% in a leftwing bastion like Boston is good news.

I’ve been onthis site for about seven years, but I’ll be called a troll for saying Palin is not winning this debate. Yes, she has presented herself much better than in those interviews, yes she does not come off as a ditz, but she has simply missed too many opportunties to win this debate. If she had only told the audience that Biden had himself voted for that financial deregulatory law that he was blasting, it would have been a huge punch to the jaw. But she whiffed. In her defense, Biden has about 25 years more experience at this sort of thing, and in that respect she is doing reasonably well. But this isn’t golf, and she’ll get no handicap points.

Biden is a constructionist for the VP and not for the courts. He just said his only job will be to break a tie in the senate.
