I think they can take notes during the debate, they just cannot bring out preprinted notes as per pre-agreement.

Palin is coming across as weak and is allowing herself to be dragged into the liberal side of the field. They are basically arguing over who can be more liberal, more socialist.

Understand I'm not defending her and McCain - I'm not happy with her and McCain either, but that said, she and McCain are not trying to get your vote and my vote - McCain has the vote of every person reading this thread.

What McCain and Palin are doing by going to the left on certain issues, is that they are trying to pull in undecideds, many of whom are in the middle or lean left.

Yes, it's selling out for votes, and yes it gives more power to liberal beliefs, but McCain is still better than Obama.

Sarah is a bit jumpy like a rabbit and maybe talking too fast, where Biden is looking relaxed and answering slowly.

I wish she could be not constrained by the McCain line, but I guess she’s got no choice.

What bothers me is that Biden is dictating the positions on issues and Sarah is being forced to agree with fallacious assumptions. I’d like to see her turn his positions back on him and why Biden is wrong.
