Bristol Palin's pregnancy is a "damaging revelation " that has caused Sarah Palin's image to "suffer." Says who? Says ABC News, in an article by Rick Klein and Jennifer Parker.

In Palin Pregnancy Rocks Political World, Klein and Parker report reaction from a variety of Republican and traditional-values sources. Every one, from Dr. James Dobson to Grover Norquist to Chuck Donovan of the Family Research Council to a pro-life delegate to the GOP convention who said "the fact that her daughter's keeping it and marrying the father is wonderful," had a positive reaction.

But what do they know? Declare Klein and Parker emphasis added]:

Palin's image may suffer further if more damaging revelations come out in the coming days and weeks.

On the contrary, in the end this will be a huge plus for John McCain. He knew before he offered the VP slot to Palin that her daughter was pregnant, and offered anyway, no doubt against his advisers' wishes.

I've been no fan of McCain, but I am now, he made the tough choice here, the honorable choice. He saw something in this family that we're all going to see pretty soon, and there are simply too many on both sides of the aisle that have faced this very dilemma in their lives, and many are wishing they had handled it the way this family did.

Not to mention what going forward in the face of adversity says about Sarah Palin.....

Whether you like it or not, it is a damaging revelation. You can sit there and pretend it's not going to be but, believe me, the MSM is gonna make it sound as bad as possible. They'll completely ignore the potentially illegal or unethical shenanigans between Biden and his youngest son, but they won't ignore this. I'd almost be willing to bet McCain really didn't know about it.

No doubt, there is not a Christian out there who has not sinned, and 99.99% of Christians recognize that this is a common sin.

The Girl, her Boyfriend and the Palin family are all doing the right thing here and the More the left decides to ride rough shout over;

1) A woman who gets pregnant in her teens marries and moves on

or

2) A mother supporting her pregnant teenage daughter

But people of faith and good character like Sarah Palin have a way of making good from a difficult situation.

And I truly believe candidate Palin will find a way to put her situation in the best light, and it will ultimately make her candidacy (and the GOP ticket) that much stronger.

It is time to face a very serious question about many in the MSM: have they been paid off?

Before you call me cynical, just look at the coverage this cycle. The MSM killed off Hillary. Yes they did! Just as if they’d killed her with a gun. They have propped up Obama by refusing to dig into his past; and I mean his very recent past: aka Tony Rezko.

Is Soros or somebody like him paying off the MSM?

The hardest lesson that I have had to learn in life, is that we can not live someone’s life for them, no matter how much we have loved them. I have had to learn the hard way.
But it seems that Sarah Palin has already learned that lesson and is willing to go on and to make the very best of it.

Good thing she isn’t the daughter of a democratic candidate, or she would be getting a righteous freeper shredding.

This issue would never have seen the light of day had she been the daughter of a dem candidate. Look at Edwards' affair: the MSM spun itself right into the ground trying to ignore that one, and then suggested it be dropped because of Mrs. Edwards' feelings (which I agree with, by the way).

And I also think an adult married man who cheats on his sick wife is a whole different thing than a teenage pregnancy with marriage on the horizon. As to the latter, there but for the grace of God, for a lot of people.

No ABC, actually it is not. Most Americans will appreciate and sympathize with the Palins and how they are handling this. It will serve to increase her worth in the public eye, increase the McCain-Palin poll numbers, and compel more people to come to her side in this..

Wolf Blitzer and CNN have crossed the line generating a birth control discussion about Sarah Palins pregnant daughter. Dragging this pregnancy thru the mud is totally unacceptable.
