Appearing on ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" Sunday, senator John McCain tried to qualify his remark from 2005 that senator Hillary Clinton "would make a good president."
"
The likely Republican presidential nominee said Clinton "would be a good president in the respect that I think she has integrity, I think she has all of the qualities that are necessary, but she has a very different philosophical view, the liberal Democratic view, than I have, which is conservative Republican."

And we’re to all fall in line and rally behind this guy, according to party heads and vanity posters.
Sheesh...

He might also be showing respect to the opposition in the hopes that will calm the beast long enough to get his point across without letting her psychotic rants setting the tone of the debates, just as Bush complimented Putin and showed respect to moderate muzzies.
The press and thousands of of conservatives went crazy over that, but anyone who's ever been involved in the most basic sales/negotiations knows it's easier to make someone do what you want if you show respect, whether it's deserved or not.
Besides, knowing the beast's classless tendency to tear out the throats of anyone who isn't her, he could gain more points just by being civil, presenting the contest as one of a level headed and inclusive statesman VS a vindictive bitch with a chip on her shoulder who literally despises 1/2 of all the (American) citizens in this country.
I could be wrong, and my breakfast is floating just below my throat writing this, because I honestly think the Stain is more a panderer than a wiley strategist, but I'm hoping someone on his team lays out a plan to trick that addled headed HO into chasing her own tail ~ loud enough for everyone to see, as her hatred eventually eats her own head.

McCain is a dork. He could have easily said something like “Yeah, she would make a good President...of PETA. Or she would be a good President of NOW. But her policies would be bad for America.

He truly is the IDIOT that we've always thought he was. This pretty much wraps it up, although I'll have to say that I've always had ZERO intention of voting for the old leftist.
Essentially, he's just validated what a lot of us have been saying...which is that there's simply not much difference between the likes of McCain, and the DNC hopefuls.
I'm really starting to feel bad for all the people clinging to McCain. It's starting to be a difficult thing to watch. I'm really losing my will to even poke fun at them anymore. Eventually, they'll lose heart and realize what we already know...and I really don't wish that on them.
It's going to be an "interesting" 8 months!

"Who selected him? Seems to me it was Republican primary voters who selected him." The MSM selected him, if voters had a hand in this it was because the only true conservative (Aaide from Hunter) dropped out after losing S.C.
They were stuck with McInsane, Willard and the Huckster.
We are toast.

If he hasn't figured it out by now he never will.

Yes...I only mentioned the 8 months being interesting because I think it goes without saying that the 4 years after that are going to be hell. :-(

Who are you suggesting wears a skirt, eh? Nobody's hiding, except in your confused mind. I said what I said right out in the open, if you have the courage of your convictions, Freepmail our founder and tell him that you think he's a fool.
C'mon chump, show us what you got.
