Appearing on ABC's "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" Sunday, senator John McCain tried to qualify his remark from 2005 that senator Hillary Clinton "would make a good president."
"
The likely Republican presidential nominee said Clinton "would be a good president in the respect that I think she has integrity, I think she has all of the qualities that are necessary, but she has a very different philosophical view, the liberal Democratic view, than I have, which is conservative Republican."

You guys are ridiculous. He clearly pointd out their obvious differences. What do you want him to do, begin the trash talking in February?
Yes, more attacks on our nominee. That’s just SOOOOO helpful right now, isn’t it. God forbid you direct your fire at Hildebeast or the Crackhead.
Clearly reaching out to Hillary supporters who will be bitter after she loses the nomination. Not a bad strategy.
Some of these posts are way over the top... These maccaca moments shouldn’t be taken seriously.
He gave a politically correct answer to a stupid question about a idiotic question he was asked years before in which he gave an appropriately idiotic reply.
Hey John.
How about saying.
” I thought that way, but with the passage of time, and after reviewing the entire person I don’t anymore. You can call that flip flopping but it won’t get me change my opinion that she leaves a lot to be desired and I am a better choice to lead this country.”
That yes, and the other side of the coin is that the presstitutes would crucify him if he said anything derogatory about her thighness.
Blackbart.
Good observation on face time.
Most americans are busy living their lives, and if they do show up at the polls will pull the lever based on name recognition, or face time.............
Besides, he wants to run against her, not him.
“Gee — you seem to think there’s only one candidate in the entire race. Are you aware there are two SOCIALISTS running on the other side?”
Really? Governor Huckabee is a socialist as well? Can’t say that it would surprise me. Embracing socialism seems to be very popular among GOP Presidential candidates these days.
With the availability of RU-486, repealing Roe would hardly lead to back-alley abortions. If you are going to do something illegal, you’ll likely just illegally supply women with the pill.
Which of course IS dangerous, but not in a way any pro-abortion people will acknowledge.
There were not really many dangerous back-alley abortions before Roe was decided, and there won’t be many today.
The real problem will be that, if Roe is overturned tomorrow, most states will NOT ban abortion. A few will, and some have the laws on their books already. A few state courts will probably rule that the state constitutions require access to abortion, in the same way the supreme court did.
There is a LOT of work to be done to stop abortion. Repealing Roe is in fact only a necessary first step, but one that will not be a major factor in reducing abortions on its own.
“I honest to God dont know how I am going to bring myself to vote for this man.”
So don’t. There will be conservatives running on third party tickets.
I think she has integrity
Your not gonna make this easy are you John...
Although Hillary makes it easy.

JUST SAY NO TO JOHN MCCAIN .... FR THREADS
AZ could have spared us of their embarrassment years ago.
It’s the stupid “senate effect”. My only hope is that when the DNC starts brutally attacking McCain, and he sees that Hillary and/or Obama, and maybe even his good buddy Kerry, don’t come to his rescue or denounce their party for the attacks, that it will make him mad.
Because McCain is pretty good at attacking people when he’s mad at them.
Just looking at the picture of McCain and Hillary, there’s certainly no news bias there with McCain shown as all fuzzy and out of focus and Hillabeest crystal clear.
Nope, no bias at all.....

Target: GOP
“Yes, more attacks on our nominee.”
Our nominee? Uhh, no.
Perhaps it would be more accurate to term the Senator YOUR nominee.
What’s the problem? Isn’t he just agreeing with Saint Ann?
