If the unfortunate possibility of a McCain nomination comes to pass, I will not work for his election to the presidency, nor will I defend him in ad hoc conversations. He is wholly unworthy for that high office, and it is intolerable for my conscience to abide supporting him.
I will face two options once in the voting booth: 1) cast my ballot for a third party candidate, or 2) simply not vote in the presidential election.
I am curious who among you share my sentiments.
I won’t withhold my vote, so I’ll write in a name.
Count my hubby and I in.
Count my wife and I in.
I can’t stand McCain, but he’s pro-life and pro-troops and won’t surrender to the Jihadists. That’s good enough for me when the opponent is Hitlery.
I’d vote for the Hillside Strangler before I’d vote for McCain.
No! No. You have a DUTY to your country to do everything in your power to keep Hillary out of that office. I understand how you feel, I hate McCain too, but think of the Federal Judges that Hillary will appoint. Hillary will stack the courts with Judges that will make Ginsburg look conservative!!
Please. For the sake of your children...and your children’s children.
This is a tough decision to make. Do I take cyanide or hemlock.
Agreed. I can easily see the November election destroying the Republican party in all but name. I can only hope that a true conservative party rises to take the label.
Possibility of 3rd party conservative candidate? Brokered convention? Protested convention?
I will not vote for him. It doesn’t feel good to say it, and I know it sounds bad, but that’s my decision and I will stick by that decision.
Think of the judges McLame will appoint.
At this point, I share your sentiments. As of tonight, I don’t consider the GOP my party anymore.
Despite that, it’s possible McCain could do or say something to win my vote. I don’t know what.
I will vote for everything else on the ballot but NEVER for JM as president.
The president vote will be blank unless I can write in a name.
There is something to be said about the thinking that McCain would take the party so far left it would be indistinguishable from the Democrat Party...in which caseit would be ONE BIG PARTY.
I think that danger is even more frightening that Hillary or Obama as President.
They wont be ACLU card carriers. Hillary’s appointees will.
