So the 2008 GOP delegate totals are something like this (?):
Romney and Huckabee tied for FIRST.
McCain THIRD.
Thompson FOURTH
Hunter FIFTH
(or perhaps is it Hunter Fourth and Thompson Fifth).
With neither Keyes nor Paul having delegates?
Not sure.

ALL OF YOU WHO SAY YOU WILL SIT IT OUT....if the candidate isn't what you desire......
Relax, it is primary season; time to get all your frustrations out before the Big Game.

Single women women with no man to protect them look instead to Daddy government to watch over them. Do you really think that little of single women? I know plenty of capable successful women that have done fine without a man "to protect them." And they're conservatives, too!

Coming off two wins for the GOP, I would not be so pessimistic. We live in a very divided time. This election will likely be razor close again regardless of who the candidates are. You think HRC or BO’B are going to win the south? It comes down to the same 10 or so states as last time. They are from blue states so they have to work to peel off states that we won just 4 years ago.

“His religion is going to hurt him,big time.”
I hope not. Also, Democrats wil appreciate the novelty value and victim value. So it could be a wash. He looks Presidential. That doesn’t hurt with Republicans and could be a significant boon with Democrats.

You may be right there. Maybe McPain has shot his wad. We will have to see as time goes on. Two weeks ago I would not have predicted McPains showing in NH. No one would have.
I don't slight Fred in anyway. I would be delighted if he won the nomination and chose Duncan as his running mate.

I like the fact that Romney got more votes than all those below him. His spokeswoman on Hannity, basically said what I said earlier....it’s about the delegates....and they are going to win them!

Rudy is a liberal authoritarian socialist who has no respect for freedom or soverignty and is in opposition to 80% of the Republican platform. Sorry... NO SALE!
(Huckster is just as bad, for different reasons).

Help me out CCG. What the hell happened....?
On the eve of the Iowa Caucus, all pollsters projected an Obama victory. And they were right.
Now on the very eve of the NH primary, all of the pollsters projected an Obama victory...... and Hillary winds up winning. Something is not right here.
I know that they bussed in union people, and that many precincts ran out of ballots. Someone, somewhere, had to be stuffing ballot boxes.
I cannot believe that little "crying" episode is what did the trick for Hillary.

....its about the delegates....and they are going to win them!
That is candidate speak and it is not true, now. Today it is all about momentum and viability. If Romney loses MI, SC and FL, he will have neither. Come on, do you really think a candidate who spends $7-million (or much more) in Iowa and God knows what in NH, a state where he keeps a summer home, and wins neither, has any chance in the fall? No way he gets the nomination and it will not even be close.
