Yeah, the Supermajority was always there if you had an actual filibuster, but Ted Kennedy escalated things when he had the idea to apply it to Judicial confirmations, too.

I said Paul should ALSO get out of the race. Paul and Fred both. They won’t win the nomination, and if they did win it, they would lose to Obama or Hillary. Let’s let Mitt, John, and Rudy duke it out for a few months.
