ACCRA, Ghana — Two U.S. Navy sailors were found dead Tuesday in a hotel room in the West African nation of Ghana, the U.S. Navy said.

That said, I hope the Navy is being polite rather than naive when it says it is relying on the investigative acumen of the “host nation.”The host nation, after all, is Ghana, a poor third world state with very weak public institutions and few resources.
