Most likely, the hookers who meant only to knock them out and take their wallets used too large a dose. This is the modern navy. Could be that it was a love triangle gone violent.

Well, it’s just foolish to speculate on what happened. That said, I hope the Navy is being polite rather than naive when it says it is relying on the investigative acumen of the “host nation.”The host nation, after all, is Ghana, a poor third world state with very weak public institutions and few resources. I’ve been there.

Possible. Or they were drinking really, really bad stuff.

Sailors with hookers???Believe it or not, it is actual now a UCMJ offense to patronize a hooker.

Make it illegal? Yeah. That'll stop it...Of course you're correct, but to me it's more of an example of how PC we have become.

*shrug* The former Commanding General of the Marine Corps was know to say:
"It isn't the fear of punishment that keeps Marines in line. It is the CERTAINTY!"

I think that it is pretty pathetic that you are making jokes out of 2 people that are dead! You should be ashamed of yourselves!!!
To: proxy_user
I prefer a more dramatic case--Navy Seals or CIA on a mission. Somebody didn't buy their sailor credentials. Also, my inquiring mind jumped straight to the ROP questiion.
Tragedy any way you explain it.
