Rumor circulating on the Fred08 blog that there is going to be a major "surprise" announcement coming this morning.
Perhaps an NRA endorsement or a major political figure?

This from the guy who just minutes ago implied that Romney had to repay people for "making" him rich? Care to show me where I made that statement?
You ready to back up your statement or are you going to apologize for your false witness?

Shouldnt Fred be concentrating on his supposed strength which is SC and other southern states. The MSM/Romney drone of "no fire" has made Iowa more important. Besides, if he knocks off Huckabee and Romney in Iowa, the MSM will have to cover him.

My relatives threw in that he has had cancer, and that he could die.
I told them not to worry, that he would pick a good veep, just in case. ; )
Of course, they assured me that he would not. ha.

Then let time tell and stop trying to shut down people by constantly pointing out their join date, unless what they have to say is so over the top that it’s blatantly obvious their intent is but to create problems.
I say again: good grief!
To: xjcsa
Shoot...sorry, I had the wrong guy.Gracious apology accepted.

Agreement to drop out in exchange for becoming McCains running mate. (Just a guess.) They both have had cancer so I doubt it. Fred will drop out and throw his support behind McCain at some point since he entered the race as McCain's stalking horse. I suspect when the inevitable drop comes, it will be said to be due to health problems.

I despise it when somebody “announces” that there is gonna be “an announcement”.
Lame.
Truly lame.

Sad, but conservatives should be used to it by now. We haven’t had a real conservative to support since 1984.

I think it is a ploy to get media attention. The announcement will be some policy plan, but he will have people’s attention at a key moment. So the media circus clowns will report on whatever it is he decides to announce and he gets some free attention. It’s as good a plan as any. The media are big-time players in this game of politics, and not reporters only. They don’t really care about informing the public. They want to herd the public into their own chosen ideological direction. So I’m all for some clever person herding them around for a change.

Judging by the three day fund raiser that just started, I think the red pickup truck is coming back.

According to another poster, it isn't Fred, "it's just his handlers" or something...
anyway, I agree with you - playing the game using the most advantageous tools is smart IMO. Kinda like refusing to raise yer hand?

"If we are speculating on the announcement, I am going with good fund raising numbers for the quarter."That's a good guess.

To: Petronski
Oh, was that supposed "Willard fan" a regular poster on FR who supports Romney? What was the poster's screen name?
Because, as we all know, Democrat disrupters routinely author those kinds of posts on FR to attack Republican and conservative candidates and are then banned.
