I dont know about you, but if someone I support says something stupid, Im at least honest enough to admit it, instead of making endless excuses for him. Let me know when Paul does.
I was among the very first Paul supporters who stated that I'd cut all ties with Paul if there was any evidence his official campaign was in bed with the anti-war Left and white supremacists.

Funny how the Paulistinians are always having to go behind him to clarify his gaffs. It wasn't a gaff, but funny how the anti-Ron Paul zealots want to make it one.

John T. Flynn was the editor of the John Day Jackson-owned New Haven Register as well as Executive Director of America First. He was against entry into WW II but the day after Pearl Harbor he and the other America First leaders folded their tent and supported the war. Eventually, Lindbergh was allowed into the military to fight in that war. The America Firsters were initially foolish as to foreign policy until Pearl Harbor. They did (often wisely) oppose FDR on domestic policy was well. They were not treasonous weasels like paleoPaulie ad the Paulistinian Kool Aid drinkers, Truthers, Dukes, et al.
I have not heard of paleoPaulie seeking readmission to the military so that he can personally fight OBL. Of course, paleoPaulie is his mouthpiece and so that is understandable. Do not confuse honorable, if sometimes misguided, men like John Flynn with paleotrash like paleoPaulie or lavender Justin(e) Raimondo and the other Tokyo Roses and Axis Sallies of the WOT.
The books that would attract paleoPaulie are the ones by the likes of Noam Chomsky.

Cancer can grow on you too but it isnt generally thought to be beneficial. When the cancer kills its host, the cancer dies too.
Wait... Am I the cancer or are you? And more importantly... what's the point again? (/sarcasm)

That wasn't a qualifier; it was a poorly worded disclaimer. It was the same as saying "[insert name] not only smoked weed but sold it. Of course, I wouldn't say that of him but others might. So he has to be careful when he addresses the issue of illegal drugs". No, it was a qualifier, you just don't want to accept it as such.
It's the last refuge of a scoundrel.
Wasn;t that quote, patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel?

Me:
"Oh, I'm sure you'll come up with some explanation on how it's bogus, or just one tempest in a teapot, or whatever. But it's just the tip of the iceberg here." You [in response]"I'm honestly surprised at how little faith you people have in a regular man's reasoning power.
You [follow up]:"Anyways [here comes the qualification I mentioned], that statement truly is great news, but it's solely qualitative. We honestly can't be sure what "large numbers" mean. And it's pure speculation that we will be out by the Nov. 2008 election..."
You see? You proved my point above. And you showed why we have so little faith.
Please, send me more articles if you have them.
Nope; I will not. I did a simple search on the keyword 'surge'. You seem to be computer literate. You can do the same.

The stupid comments from candidates expressed in this thread came from Ron Paul. Where?
And you and other PaulBots are the ones defending those comments
Because they were taken out of context? Duh. Have you ever read Paul's "Statement of Faith" before? He freely professes his love for Christ and his faith. (Yeah I know, a Code Pinker probably wrote it for him)...
as well as his despicable acceptance of contributions from Truthers and fascists.
Good! That's more money to promote Paul's agenda, not theirs.

If you haven't noticed the continual attacks on the 2nd amendment, the 1st amendment, and on the constitution and bill of rights in general, I don't think you've been paying close enough attention.
Our founders warned to be vigilant about protecting our liberty. Their advice, and Paul's concern about the direction we're heading in is WISE, not insane.
You may not believe in what you consider 'conspiracy theories', but maybe it's the word 'conspiracy' that throws people off. There is clearly corruption in government, cover-ups, and there are statists who are growing the government and not upholding the constitution. To deny that is to deny reality.

Ron Paul won’t govern anything. He is about to be politically destroyed as he should be.

No Fascist state can exist without doing the first thing that the National Socialist Workers Party did. Take away your guns. And that is why the GOA opposed certain provisions in the Patriot Act as threat to do just that.

I have not heard of paleoPaulie seeking readmission to the military so that he can personally fight OBL. If the US military were actually principally fighting OBL, instead of masquerading as the Peace Corps and building schools, hospitals, electrical grids and pulling police duty in Iraqi and Afghani towns, then your critique would have much more credibility.

I am taking this opportunity to invite several paleoPaulistinians to try to defend Dr. Demento's dissing of Cross and flag while hiding behind Sinclair Lewis of all people. Invitation denied. Paul didn't "diss" anything.
I am also pinging fieldmarshaldj, petronski, allegra, badeye, arrogant bustard and ejonesie22 because I just know they will want to notice this thread.
I'm sure they'll pick up the scent of the thread and mosey on here to post their cheesy photo-shopped jpegs.
To: TexasMatty
To bad he is also going to lose in Texas. We realy need a strict Constitution guy down in the 14th. LMFAO!! It will be the nations loss as well.
I am sure you will elect some RINO, which is what GOP establishment has attempted to replace Ron Paul with.

Is Huckabee not an authoritarian statist using religion to achieve his goals?Perhaps. Perhaps not. I've seen nothing beyond supposition (such as yours). And, no, I'm not a Huck fan. I support Thompson.
I'm saying if he did though, you hypocrites would be cheering non-stop.
You love putting words and ideas in someone else's mouth or head. A very poor tactic. No! I would not be cheering, I'd be highly critical. Don't project your own practices onto me.
Why would fascists support someone who believes in liberty and freedom?
Good question. Makes you wonder why they're showing so much interest his campaign, doesn't it? Is it possible the real answer won't suit your beliefs?

As a treasonous weasel, paleoPaulie attacks patriotism. Sure he does bub.
I dont know what paleoPaulie does with his Sunday mornings but he is obviously not very respectful of Christianity, as is obvious from his remarks.
Uh, he probably goes to church on Sunday. Several of his brothers are in the ministry. In fact, Paul contemplated on going into the ministry himself before the medical field was calling.
Like most antiAmerican antiwar peacecreeps and moonbats, paleoPaulie is just being paleoPaulie or Neville Chamberlain or George McGovern or Ramsay Clark or Cynthia McKinney or Cindy Sheehan or whomever.
Yeah, yeah, yeah...PAUL'S A KOOK!
To: BlackElk
Ron Paul wont govern anything. He is about to be politically destroyed as he should be. You are probably right, so why are the attacks on someone is not going to win?
And who are you supporting for the Presidency?
