[I waited 45 seconds and actually posted something substantial--Ed.]

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — At least four people were shot outside of a Colorado Springs church on Sunday, but it was not immediately known whether the shootings were related to an earlier shooting about 70 miles away, authorities said.

The profile you linked to is a 23 year old female...

That took me aback for a couple of seconds also. But if you read his profile, it's almost certainly the same perp. He lied about being a female, and no doubt pulled a canned photo off the internet to use.

And I should add that of course it’s not his fault that he lied about being a female. It’s his crappy upbringing that made him a liar. His entire life up until the end, all the people who pretended to want to help him were all liars, as he has told the world. Nothing he does is his fault. He’s just a VICTIM. Don’t blame him for anything.

No fair... You forgot the sarcasm tag! ;) I thought you were really blaming it all on his mom there for a minute! Upon reading back through your post ALL THE WAY I see the tone a little differently now... :)

:) I re-read your post, and see that you were reacting the same as I to the whole “victim” mentality thing... I just didn’t recognize the sarcasm at first! ;)

Sorry! I should have said it was sarcasm. My posting was intended for spunkets, who well knows my fondness for satire/sarcasm.

He and I have tangled recently on another Colorado (Boulder) news story - of the predatory ex-judge and his lawyer wife who misused the "adverse possession" law to grab 1/3 of their neighbors' $1 million lot, making it unbuildable and therefore ensuring their view won't be blocked.

"What kind of a demon-possessed mother would search through her child's things and take away his Halo Blood & Gore III video game and his Death Rock genre CDs and Satan Rock genre CDs and Mayhem & Violence genre CDs?"

You're exaggerating. Normal stuff was forbidden and he wa searched for that, not what you've claimed. The discussion at xpentacostals had someone noting that even Care Bears could result in kids being possessed by them, according to the preachers.

"You say that he didn’t know G-d... I don’t think you can honestly say that for sure, can you?"

I can say that with certainty. All he ever presented was contradiction and confusion in the matter.

"You are making assumptions that everything he has written about his home life is true"

I haven't finished reading all of what he wrote, but the essentials stick out like a sore thumb. He never would have made it to that xpentacostal board if it weren't essentially true, let alone spend time there.

"one can definitely be influenced by the world of satanism "

That stuff is as goofy as what he was reacting to. He never elaborated on it himself, because he had no idea what any of it was about other than to be confused by it's contradictions. He had to copy it, then post it. It did not come from within him. It's only attraction to him, was that it's confusion opposed the confusion he'd been subject to.

As far as decisions go. I think he could decide to eat, or not to eat, but he was incapable of making decisions that would effect his personality, because he had none. A simple way to put it is that his entire concept of self was a complete mess and he was cluless to sort it all out and begin building. That's what he presented on the xpentacostal board.

As far as spiritual recognition and decisions go, an intact mind is essential. I don't see any evidence that he had one.

Sorry, satan possessed the touch pad. That should have read:

Normal stuff was forbidden and that's what the object of the search was, not what you've claimed.

Nope. Reread the quote of his I put just above. I copy/pasted the entire quote. He doesn't say anything about Care Bears. He says his mother searched for CDs she didn't want him listening to. What would those types of CDs be like, I wonder? Based on the kind of music lyrics he was so fond of pasting into his posts, I think my educated guess is a reasonable one.

He also mentioned that she didn't like some video games. What would those be? Hmmm... What kinds of video games did the Columbine killers favor? Educated guess time again.

So no, I don't feel I was exaggerating.

On a tangent ..... just curious, have you ever been a parent of teenagers?

Disclosure time: I have a HS senior and a HS junior here at home with us.

Also, I think his words I quoted above do not support your "Normal stuff was forbidden" claim in another way as well.

Think about it, now. If "normal stuff" is forbidden, that would imply ALL video games and CDs and DVDs. Now, I can see it being possible to hide from Mom's view certain music CDs and certain video game CDs and certain movie DVDs, and only watching/listening/playing those banned items with the sound turned down low in your own room. But it's virtually impossible for a kid to hide for long a video game console, CD players, and DVD players. This implies that these pieces of electronics did exist in his home. This in turn implies that only items on the verboten list were banned in the home, and that music and video games and movies that the mother defined as "normal" were allowed.

For instance, I'll venture a wild guess that albums with lyrics like, "Satan lord, your throne among the flames of the abyss. Evil one, the mighty lord of hell... Satan" didn't make the cut in her home, into her "normal stuff" category.

Therefore, I am still awaiting a single example of this mother's alleged child abuse.

And no, I'm not a liberal or a libertarian. So quoting to me the atheists' currently favorite claim that "teaching any kind of religion to children is, in and of itself, child abuse" will not win me over.

flat-out Satanist

The easiest definition of a Satanist is one who thinks that they know better than God what is right and wrong. One who sets themself up as the final arbiter of right and wrong. One who calls evil - good and good - evil.

He was all that.

Why has this not been on the news yet - the MSM of course —— I know stupid question.

Yes, the shooter wrote it (sorry for the sloppy attribution). It is interesting that he easily pinpoints the profound influence the music has over him. And yet it is denied by everyone else. I was at a rock concert tonight (Motion City Soundtrack, Anberlin, Mae) and lemme tell you. The stuff moves you.

Yeah, people with normal self esteems go about holding up degrees, rather than advancing logical arguments, during debate.

You are correct. In my defense though, I would say that some have enjoyed my posts nonetheless.

I've yet to find anybody that has said they LIKE all cap posts, lol.

He just demonstrates the reactions of a hidden person that's haunted by the severely damaging experiences of his upbringing

By severely damaging, you mean that by his perception they were severely damaging. Which ties into your next point.

He had no foundation, or concept of self.

Right. He appropriates all these other people's victimologies as his own. The guy in "Teen Training." The girl whose mom beat her. The guy who called into some show. But when it comes down to detailing the wrongs done to him, he wasn't allowed on a missions trip and some Christians were hypocrites and other Christians didn't answer all of his epistemological questions to his satisfaction and some other Christian kids didn't invite him to their parties. That's not "severely damaging."

The only points of reference he had were bad experiences, accompanied by confusion and contradiction.

He focuses only on confusion and contradiction. It gives him an out. He wants no answers. You could have told him 2+2=4 and he would have said, "maybe to you." He invites contradiction. He is not an innocent bystander witnessing it. He seeks it out.

His dad wasn't around much.

You know this how? It might be a reasonable assumption. But it is an assumption.

They weren't isolated like Murray was and learned how to escape and heal. Murray never got that.

Not everyone wants to heal. Mr. Murray chose to stop therapy (apparently both counseling and pharamacotherapy). He refused help on multiple occasions. He mentions that Christians even tried to help him. He simply views their actions as inadequate. Likewise with the counselor. He clearly thinks he has suffered more than anyone, ever, comparing his suffering to sexual abuse (though he never makes an accusation of sexual abuse). So, it's not anyone's fault that he didn't learn to heal other than his own. He didn't even make a good faith effort. And if you don't make a good faith effort to get well, you must like being sick.

And people with normal self esteems would let such an inconsequential issue go long ago.
