A verdict was reached Thursday in the trial of Jose Padilla and two co-defendants charged with supporting al-Qaida and other violent Islamic extremist groups overseas. The jury verdict was scheduled to be read at 2 p.m. EDT before U.S. District Judge Marcia Cooke in Miami's downtown federal courthouse, according to an announcement from her chambers. The jury of seven men and five women deliberated for about a day and a half following a three-month trial.
Padilla, Adham Amin Hassoun and Kifah Wael Jayyousi face possible life in prison if convicted of all three charges in the case
He was born in 1970. He would have been 25 in 1995 at the time of OKC. Old enough...
You are correct.
The Clinton justice department consciously avoided a terrorist connection. They hid the real story and executed Mcveigh with near supersonic speed.
Plenty old enough. And the composite sketch of JD #2 is pretty much identical.
GOOD!

HaHa! found this comment from Captains Quarters ...
“If Padilla wanted to help al-Qaeda, he should’ve done it the legal way—write about war and terrorism for Newsweek.”

I loooooooove the cute little icons the DUmmies have. That, and the fact that they feel the need to list the number of times they’ve posted.
Jose Padilla: Doing the job Islamic extremist Americans wont do.

“And the reaction from the moonbats in DUmmieland.....”
The attitudes of those people are really loathesome. I mean, do they think supporting Al Qaeda is a good thing? Would they be happier if more American citizens were being killed. The judgment of those people is highly suspect, to say the least.
That comment is really inappropriate. It's the kind of comment that gives FR a bad name. Posting pictures is one thing, but you are calling these Muslims monkeys. You should know better.
“Jenna Bush got engaged to divert attention from the verdict.”
Yeah, that’s about the limit of their understanding over at the DU. And they believe that they should be running the country. Quite funny.
“Im, surprised they didnt find a way to blame the verdict on Global Warming.”
Wrong devil. It’s all Cheney’s fault.
Either one works for me or both: The fertile and festered mind of drpix at work:
All the pics are funny
ROFLMBO
I have to ask myself where these people come from. Is DU a covert branch of al Qaeda or something? I know plenty of liberals, some of whom I’d classify as flaming, and none of them are so out of touch with reality as the people who post on DU.
Am I missing something or do they want someone who tried to blow up an airplane full of people to go free?
What exactly is their point?
I have known one DUer. They seem to confuse their feelings with reality. And they believe they know a lot more than they actually do.
Guy on the left is McDead, guy on right looks a lot like Padilla. Just sayin..
Can you put her head on the NOLA Beer Guy?
