Who says that we have to attack them from the ground to attack them? We can deliver overwhelming destructive force from other means, deliver them massive setbacks and not have to send boots in.

100% identical to the Democrats.
BTW a question for Mottaki... if we are really so weak, why is Iran desperately trying to obtain Russian-Chinese Defense equipment... are you afraid?

I'd like to see the presidential campaign maneuver the US Democrats into a position of "We can't nation-build" or "The problem of Iraq was that after we defeated them militarily, we let ourselves get sucked into a quagmire."
Because that might open the door to a massive US strike against Iran, with absolutely no effort on our part to involve ourselves on the ground. Oh, you're in the Stone Age? So sad. Can't help ya! Bye!

Of course we could wipe them out with bombs, nuclear or conventional. But we won’t. We don’t have the warrior’s heart anymore, at least our politicians don’t.
So the next question is do we have enough men in boots? I don’t think we do and that is Bush’s biggest failure. He needed to increase the size of our military.
If we are to be the world’s police force we need a lot bigger army.

The US Navy and Air Force are not stretched. We certainly have the forces to attack any country or even multiple countries at the same time regardless of the situation in Iraq and Afghanistan. Nobody is talking about taking over Iran with ground forces.
When the time comes to withdrawl from Iraq, I hope they withdrawl through Iran.

Dear Mr. Iranian, some of us would not consider it a “NEW”
military conflict, rather a logical continuation of an existing one to the point of origin.

Stretched too thin for an additional Iraq style occupation is quite different than stretched too thin to attack.

Someone needs to tell the current Islamic thug, that it takes only a few aircraft - of which we have many — to return Iran to the stone age overnight....
Thanks to Iraq we have learned to not occupy the land of Islamists until the place has been reduced to smoldering rubble.

Actually I tend to agree. In Iraq the second time we forgot the “Powell” doctrine of attacking with an overwhelming force. We tried to do it on the cheap and have not been extremely successful.
If we are going to do it we need to be prepared to get the job done...conventional air war alone is not going to get the job done.
