Tonight's cloture motion has just gone down to defeat. No where near the 60 yea votes needed to cut off debate.

Thanks for the list. I see my “wonderful” senators voter YEA (Feingold & Kohl). It figures based on the letter I got back from Kohl — still waiting to hear from Feingold (figures...). I really hope the GOP here in WI can do something about these two. I know I’ll try to help... The Dems have a lock on this area it seems (N. Central WI).

The key is to get this debate exposed during the'08 election cycle. The voters as a whole are solidly behind the secure the borders first option.
