Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
vanity | April 21, 2007 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/21/2007 6:42:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

Trying to wait for us to get nasty with him. I won’t stoop to name calling and personal attacks. I am bored with him.

One day, he will understand that he has allowed himself to speak points for others who do not value even his life. Sad, really.

Not a nutcase, quite the opposite. Good, but not a master of their game. And the casual nuances of adding other’s names into the pot surely points to trolling...IMHO.

“But now he/she is on a ‘mission’ to convince the rest of us that she/he is right, and we’re all wrong.”

Bingo! The agression tends to heighten when they feel cornered or threatened.

An Unbornchild cannot be seperate while residing within another’s body. That happens at birth, but I do not take the postition that this means no rights exist.

Rights for all exist even in this situation. They have to, or we all have to admit that rights are not equal to all.

I am unwilling to take that position. My position is that we are all equal where rights are concerned and all must be respected and observed. Not one or the other.

As for “temporarily”, well on one level I am talking only about shortening that timeframe. So we kind of agree on that point. Would you say?

Choice in the matter of (fill in the blank). The reason there is a subject and no predicate is because it applies across the board...to all things. Kind of like the understood yet unwritten “you”. It doesn’t have to be there in words to acknowlege the meaning and the presence.

I wrote a bit ago about how society removes some choices and puts others in their place. I believe this is what validates the removal of certain choices. An alternative choice with the same outcome being available means choice itself was not removed.

Per your slavery example.

The alternative is to hire nonslaves to do the work. Choice remains, though an alternative one, choice remains present none the less. The same outcome is afforded, the labor is still performed. An alternate way to accomplish the same goal.

Choice to hold a slave was removed but choice to get the labor done was not. See what I am sayin?

Let me ask you this, Why were we all created as individuals, with independant minds, if we we’re not tasked with making our own choices in our own lives?

Time for Free Republic to get back to its roots. Time for Freepers to once again defend the Constitution, advance conservatism and promote conservative candidates. Free Republic doesn't exist to advance liberalism and promote liberal candidates.

Too long (regrettably) to serve as my new personal sig. ;)

Are you SURE you want to go there?

The rambling will go on and on and on and on and on and on and on, and still no logic.

That’s one that Jimrob told to log off of this thread because he/she/it doesn’t play well with others...

It obviously doesn’t take direction very well either ;’}

Yes and when he/she says “So we kind of agree on that point. Would you say?”. It’s not a really a question.

It’s a ‘I’m right and you’re wrong no matter what YOU say’.

I think in the medical world, they call that a PSYCHOSIS.

Howlin is an administrator at the Mad Ivan/Rudy site and if you look at her tagline just what does it really say? That she wants to know about others who like Fred. Don’t believe the words, believe the actions.

I am pro life and liberty FOR ALL.

Lets talk about the here and now, not some future time when babies can be transpanted like they were tomato plants. Try a Yes or No answer to this question: In 2007, if a woman wants an abortion, does she have the right to have one?

[ ] Yes

[ ] No

Even in your world a simple yes or no answer is possible.

Yes the baby is separate from the woman...

She has her own body and organs all functioning, heart beating etc...

She has her own right to live and not have someone deny her the right to live..

She has a right not to be assaulting and stabbed, burnt, have her brain sucked out while she is alive and conscious with out the benefit of painkillers, left to die unattended in a dark room in a surgical bowl...

What can be done to her is against the law for Scott Peterson or Charles Manson...
