Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
vanity | April 21, 2007 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/21/2007 6:42:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

And he keeps wording it so that it appears that it’s Duncan Hunter position, as well because he’s done it more than once. It has to be deliberate.

Liberty and persuit of happiness.

What is freedom if not the ability to choose one’s own way?

This has to be one of the strangest discussions I’ve seen on FR. Was it ever stated how he/she felt about abortion in TODAY’S world?

The problems that develop when people use some weird sort of sense of fairness to substitute for right and wrong....

It's called moral relativism and it is employed by almost all leftists. When you really start to examine it, you realize that the ultimate objective is the total destruction of Judeo-Christian morality.

... You’re likely a good Republican, just not a conservative.

To stay off some of the damage caused by the wingnutz to the conservative cause, junior.

Post 8719 for one. But that’s okay. Don’t bother because you have the same response. You are not seeing the forest through the trees because it is all about your idea. You want to save babies so that their mothers can shirk their God ordained right to bear them life. Nothing new, I am moving along.

Seems to me that he/she isn’t getting much ‘research’ done sitting on this forum posting all day.

Unless, of course the ‘research’ is really just an ‘approval’ of this nonsense.

I’d say ‘it’ will be waiting a very long time for that to happen.

(Never is a long time. Isn’t it?)

Outlawing abortion finds validity when another option providing the same outcome is available.

The choice I support involves no death.

The choice you support doesn't even exist and isn't even a possibility in the near future.

So how's the research going?

“It is now official, I have been told that my position IS abortion and I have also been told it IS NOT....that it is something different. So which is it?”

I applaud your skill. You say “and I have also been told it IS NOT”. Who said this?

I understand your logic, and you should be proud to know this. You have great skill with the spoken word. With that said, your attempts at providing false hope and providing de facto support for the pro-abortion and pro-choice efforts make me sick. It’s just a fruit right, and it tasts so good?

I’m not going to debate your points, as others have done a great job at hammering each of them, and your recent “per se” part to one of your posts shows signs of your slipping.

Untrue, if you read my owrds in this post you would see how untrue that claim is. But you can have any perception you want. It’s a choice, right?

Duncan Hunter’s son is a Freeper.

I think he might be interested if someone was speaking for his father without DH’s knowledge.

unless you are intentionally writing to be misunderstood

I thought the only conservative who was allowed to do that was William F. Buckley, Jr.

I guess you are like some others here. you would rather just flame me instead of exploring EVERY possible way to stop abortion.

Explore every possible way to stop abortion? Make it illegal to start with.

How's the research going?
