We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.
One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to rule over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.
All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.
FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?
Do you really expect me to do that?
I’m in complete agreement with your comments. I’ll do what I can to support the strongest conservative candidate running.
All good points.
1-3) family safety, your safety, friends safety: Do not vote for a gun grabber.
4) Safety of your countrymen: All GOP candidates will fight the WOT with equal determination. Some have more military expertise than others. And Duncan Hunter also sees the looming threats beyond the islamo-scum.
5) Safety of the unborn: No need to pick the ONE guy in the GOP running that has consistently lobbied against the unborn.
What a wuss boy that AlSimmons guy is...once again the social conservatives are described as illiterate lol.
Just like a liberal - nice opus Nancyboy...and indeed I’m saddened I didn’t make your list. Good riddance another Fake assed Republican with no principle.
Btw, who is AlSimmons?
Y'all gotta try harder.
See, I'm part Scots-Irish. My ancestors were hand-selected by English Kings for their ability to annoy the Irish. So all this comes naturally to me.
I certainly don't think Rudy is a "conservative" on almost any issue---but the alternative is a radical leftist like Hillobama.
My problem is the myopia here that says "pro-life people can't support Rudy." Well, hello! There are a LOT of them who think he's a tough guy who will defeat the terrorists, and that there is no pro-life movement if everyone is dead. So my little "thing" is I get tired of people trashing those who LEGITIMATELY support Rudy for reasons they perceive to be human safety.
Rudy McRomney is not the Answer, they are in fact EVERYTHING that is wrong with the GOP today. You don't sell out your principles and expect people to trust you...
Nice post.
LMAO, oh that’s rich.
Al? I don’t think it’s JimRob who doused himself in gasoline. Better sniff yourself.
I’m not sure he or any of the recent departures are trolls, but they obviously have little use for the “mission” of FR.
Didn’t figure you were a fan! God bless!
ROFL!!!! Do you feel that way about all Alaskans or just me? Perhaps it is my location far, far away from New York that allows me to maintain unbiased perspective. I have no need for the MSM since I have the world's library at my fingertips via the internet. I've always felt it was wise to listen to the horse's mouth, so to speak. The opinions I have formed regarding Mr. Giuliani are based on his own words, not those filtered through a biased media and biased posters on FR.
BTW, from your perspective, exactly what do you believe the New York liberals hated about Rudy? Of course I realize that liberals are a fickle bunch. LOL
Heck, I became pro-life by reading columns by Nat Hentoff, a secular, atheistic liberal Jew.
I'd rather have a secularist who adheres to core conservative values than a Christian who is a flaming liberal.
You know, I try hard. But sometimes I just don't hit the mark. But, be assured that I did my best. Maybe it was an oversight. I'll have to check...
Hey Al, did you forget me? I'm sure that I pissed you off more times than some of those people on your list. Come on...I'll even put on a brown-colored shirt and you can call me a Nazi and stuff if you want. Just don't leave me off your list. Al????
I have no problem with principles, but at the end of the day, you can't eat principles. If you don't have a candidate who can win, you might as well vote for Donald Duck.
Who knows? But if getting a lib nominated for the GOP presidency is more important than staying on at FR, I’m suprised he stuck around all these years.
I’m sick of these old trolls. Good riddance indeed. Keep the bannings up.
