Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
vanity | April 21, 2007 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/21/2007 6:42:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

Maybe. The thread is about Rudy, not "others".

And besides, no other GOP candidate can match Rudy`s level of liberalism. Conservatives have to remain united on this. We don't vote for Giuliani in the primaries, or in the general election either. To do so, would betray our conservative principles. Can't do that now, can we.

Unlike Hillary, he hides his balls under a dress.

Jim, that is extremely childish and unworthy of you. Have you ever, in your life, gone to a costume party? The guy was having some fun. He's comfortable enough in his own skin to do so, Your hero, Ronald Reagan spoke to a chimpanzee in a made up situation. So what?

I put my money where I know it won't be spent by charlatans and thieves.

Wow. You're smart.

I especially don't give to Idahoans for Tax Reform

Why not? Idahoans for Tax Reform has saved Idaho taxpayers over a billion dollars during the last decade. It's very effective, and very highly respected in Idaho. At least by conservatives. Liberals hate it.

...or those unreporting scheming folks over at American Life and Liberty Coalition because I know that those are two sham fronts to scam donations for good, honest, patriotic Americans.

Well, honest folks can go look at the organization and discern that it doesn't even raise money. Never has. On purpose. So, your smear is a complete lie, and despicable.

FYI, with regard to the post you pinged me to, Peach,

Note that I never said I would vote for Hillary. What I did say was that if Rudy gets the republican nomination I would send her a check. Why? It's called a "Scorched Earth" strategy...Historically it's what people do to their beloved homelands, as the last and only option to keep the advancing marauders from taking it. Similarly, I wan't to prevent these invaders (the Rudys and Romneys) from taking over our party. Better to loose 1 election, than the Party to loose its soul by having Rudy crowned king and representing our party as the model Republican. Scorched Earth policy.

Now, when I posted that "check post" I was a little upset in the moment, perhaps. But anyways, Rudy's stock is dropping FAST, so I don't think we'll ever get to see it through (thank God).

Rudy did the cross dressing thing several times. He marched with and celebrated the Stonewall Riot. A little different, but you guys always go back to smearing Reagan.

Your hero, Ronald Reagan spoke to a chimpanzee in a made up situation.

Yes, Reagan made "Bedtime for Bonzo" in an era when NEARLY ALL of the biggest actors in Hollywood were doing slapstick comedy. Jimmy Stewart, Clark Gable, Dean Martin, Bob Hope, Bing Crosby, Jerry Lewis and a bunch of others. I guess all of these men who served America both in the armed forces and through the USO deserve your smearing too? It is disgusting the levels people are stooping to to validate Rudy's liberalism.

Ronald Reagan spoke to a chimpanzee in a made up situation.

Are you suggesting that Reagan getting paid as an actor, to film a movie, before he was in politics, is the same as Giuliani, while he was Mayor, putting on a dress for fun at a party(and not getting paid, as far as I know) are the same thing?

Why do you say I’m smearing Reagan? I don’t care what he did in the movies..that’s my point. You guys have total tunnelvision. WE GET IT...YOU DON’T LIKE RUDY. How many different ways to you want to say it. You’re boring.

“Your hero, Ronald Reagan spoke to a chimpanzee in a made up situation. So what?”

The difference is, Ronald Reagan was an ACTOR!

Rudy Giuliani is a POSER!

Hey I got cucumbers!! do they really work? my eyes are so poofy my mascara wont go on LOL!! cant have that! gotta have lashes *bat bat* ;)

If you was in hollyweird, the cucumber eye treatment would probably cost a few hundred bucks.

Word to the wise, never under any circumstances try false eyelashes. My girls got it in their heads to...'fix me up' for the middle girls wedding. It felt like I had a burly man standing on each eye lid. I batted my eyes so fast I put pelosi's blinking to shame. Not only that, they stabbed me in the corner of my eyes and made them cry. After a couple of minutes I pulled them off and told my girls they must be crazy if they think I gonna wear those.

Pressed powder on the lashes before applying the mascara lengthens them.
