Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
vanity | April 21, 2007 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/21/2007 6:42:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

Here. If you want to see the latest in deep scientific research and thinking. This ought to be right up DCs alley, from what I’ve seen over at that site.

IIRC, you made several thousand posts during the Dubai Ports World debacle. You could be found on every thread! You were everywhere, and nowhere! LOL

“The reception scientific research receives at FR is dismal, based more on ignorance and superstition than scientific knowledge.”

You Gulag Darwin site is two-bit. It’s so boring over there I had to crete 2 profiles and have conversations with myself.

Isn’t there a sale on “purple socks to be worn to gym class”? Hey, don’t rush back you might have to listen to that blow hard Russian Komarov-atsu lol.

>> To cut down on the calories or lower their sugar intake because of diabetes, Splenda is an excellent replacement.
-------------------------------

Have you tested Splenda in a recipe like this? I do use Splenda and would be pleased to save the calories, but in some recipes, there is no substitute for sugar.<<

I have type 2 diabetes. I've lost 90 pounds at 2 pounds a month. Its a slow process lacking the glamor of a grapefruit diet or eating all protein. I just eat a little less, exercise a little more. I try to never sit for more than 20 minutes without walking around a bit and I take Decembers off, just trying to stay even for the holidays. This is important since it means I get Christmas cookies.

Splenda is great but I can't get the same texture. I've found by using half Splenda I get a much healthier cookie that is company worthy. Splenda a premix just for such occasions.

Sorry you found Darwin Central boring.

Those of us who enjoy science and science literacy appreciate the level of discourse which we find there.

I skimmed some of the crevo threads, and I looked at a little of DC the other day. There doesn’t seem to be a high level of respect for people who don’t believe in evolution, and maybe I’m wrong but some of the posters think of God as a fairytale.

A lot of the same folks told us for years that we had nothing to worry about with trade with the Chicoms.

After all, what's a little deliberately poisoned wheat gluten between friends?

Or people who carpet bag to other states to run for the Senate?

Yeah, never mind the fact that Keyes stepped in when the Illnois GOP collectively stepped on theirs.

That was such a massive recall. It killed or at least sickened many animals. We were fortunate none of our pets were affected. If you have pets, did they have any problems?

I lucked out. I fed a very few cans of gravy-based Iams to my dog and one cat. Neither have shown problems. And it turns out that Iams blew the whistle on Menu Foods, bless them.

That’s great. Our pets don’t eat much wet food, and the wet food they eat is usually Purina which wasn’t affected. I didn’t know it was IAMs that came out. It’s great that they did. If they hadn’t, it’s possible animals could have continued died and getting sick with no one to connect the dots.

We normally don't pay so much attention to FR threads, but this one has been somewhat remarkable.

For most cookie recipes that I get out of cook books, I cut the sugar back to at least a third (not by a third) without hesitation. The cookies are just as good and tend to come out somewhat softer. Not so much sugar to caramelize.

No you're not wrong. If you look at the FREVO threads, you'll find the same opinion. Fairy tales, mythology, fables, stories of bronze age goatherders, yada, yada, yada. It's their hatred of Christianity that seems to be a more unifying factor among them than their promotion of evolution.

I checked out some of their science threads once upon a time, to see just what kind of deep scientific discussion was occurring there. They had the fewest posts of all, were loaded with posted pictures, and some idle talk off topic.

Their main area of interest is mocking and belittling anything and anyone connected with FR.
