Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.
One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to rule over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.
All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.
FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?
Do you really expect me to do that?

"I always felt we could handle civil disagreements without demanding a ban."
Curiosity abounds...who "demanded a ban"? From what I've seen, folks like Mr. Barsett in #15,026 asked to be disassociated from FR. Now that's a pity because he was a good contributer, but it was his choice.
Others are more petulant regarding the sites return to its core values. They resent being reined in or having the limits explained to them. As always the zapper patiently waits, attentive, and for some irresistible...

You’re right. There was a core group of agitators, it seems that they have just about all either been banned or left voluntarily.

I’m not trying to “bait” anyone, I am totally unaware of any qualifications that Rudy has to be POTUS. His post-9/11 actions have been unmeritoriously elevated to mythical levels.

The incivility began when it was made plain here that you cant support a particular candidate. I'm afraid I can't agree with you there, friend. From where I sit, it began when a group of folks foisted a faux-conservative on others and insisted that this is the only candidate capable of beating Hillary (and that any debate on the matter during this primary season would only strengthen the Dems).

“Baiting” is what the agitators used to do to us. They would bait us and when we responded they would call us baiters. Liberal Projection 101, haters call people they hate haters...

Yep. It was comical how many of the FRiberals started using terms like “fascist” and implying that Jim Robinson was violating their free speech rights.

FWIW, this rhubarb reminds me of a couple of different quotes from the movie musical
1776. The quotes are strung together to suit my purposes :)
Hopkins: Well, in all my years I ain't never heard, seen nor smelled an issue that was so dangerous it couldn't be talked about. Hell yeah! I'm for debating anything...
Lewis Morris: Courteously.

You can't CLOSE the boarders .. for many reasonsSure you can build a wall or a good fence, and patrol with enough personnel to do the job. North and South Korea have been squared off against a closed border since before I was born. There may be people who want it to remain open for Economic and/or Political reasons, but militarily it wouldn't be that difficult a task.
The art of war teaches us to rely not on the likelihood of the enemy's not coming, but on our own readiness to receive him; not on the chance of his not attacking, but rather on the fact that we have made our position unassailable.

I’ve asked them, the best they can come up with is that he was mayor on 9/11. That isn’t a qualification.

If you can't figure out who is trying to get people banned you are clueless.
