Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
Where's that big wave, the dems promised? Historically, they should be in control of both houses....
My Dem sister said the same thing to me back in 92
Guess what ... I was right

I agree about Steele - somewhere tonight the exit polling is gonna be exposed and he is just the kind of candidate that the historical models cannot predict.
On Fox.
Move to Texas, we have plenty of room and we are RED RED RED
I agree.
Really, I've heard the race called for Cardin about five different times now...
Yeah with Taft buggering up the works they snuck that in on us (With the help of the Unions and Acorn) at first it looked like it was failing here in OHIO but its got 55% of the vote right now with 39% of the precincts in and the Big Northern Democrat Precincts won't be reporting for awhile yet.
Ugh.
It is sad, and angers me.
Do you ever get tired of your shoot the messenger routine?
Listen, I voted straight (R) here in Georgia as all of my guys are doing a good job. I didn't tell people to stay home, I just warned that they would and they did.
Do you get pissed off at the weather man when he predicts rain too?
Sam, illegal immigration is one issue amongst a number of issues. It is perhaps the most heated though. The powers that be stiffed folks on the issue of illegal immigration. You can only stiff folks for so long before they react.
The IA issue, isn't even a well focused issue. Immigration is problematic in a number of ways. Right now we have systems set up that totally engulf pre-existing towns with tens of thousands of new immigrants over a decade or so, totally disrupting the status quo. If this were only happening in a few places it wouldn't be so bad. Sadly it's taking place in many areas across the nation.
Then there's the issue of allowing 70,000 Saudi students to enter the nation despite the fact they as Wahabbis, they are some of the most anti-US sects that there are.
I don't want to remain online for the rest of the evening so I'll stop there.
Single issue... even this one issue is multifaceted and it's not the only issue I assure you.
THAT is where the root of the problem lies. There are too many people who only use TV and Newspapers for info...especially older people.
how great is it that Lamont flushed $12 million of his own $ down the toilet.
Assuming the GOP holds onto the Senate...
What was turnout like? If turnout wasn't high, I don't know how much anyone can extrapolate from any of these results.
