The Ohio GOP went down because it ran a play to pay system. Blackwell was not part of that but he got tarred with the Taft brush.

John Kasich - Calling John Kasich.

Yes, I knew it!! Bye bye Bush you are out of the WH roughly 2 years early and 6 years too late. WHOOO!!!)

President Bush will never be impeached. It would be an act of political suicide by the Democrats. There will be investigations to make it an issue in 2008, but no impeachment.

this should be good for +10 House seats in the 2012 election cycle.

Too bad the world will end that year.

HAHAHa not only split but that the GOP cheated... I know this is what we are up against people... Obviously the country is split on partisan lines 50 - 50 or close to it... But watch the mandate calls and the Impeachment calls and the Investigation calls... America just doesn't get it sometimes...

Unions.
They busted in Ohio, and nobody has anyone to yell at. I can't believe I forgot all about that. Ford and GM will be pulling out. Big Time.

They will reap the "benefits" of staying home in short order! ;)

Yeah, but that still puts the democrats in charge. That didn't have to happen. If the GOP hadn't been so stubborn on the illegal immigration issue, this wouldn't have happened.

why are Democrat win races being called with 10% or less while republican wins are being delayed?

What about the absentee ballots?

Have the been counted yet? What about the state that will not let them be counted til thursday?

Bad/Good news from Wisconsin.

It looks like our idiot governor Doyle (D) will win reelection.

BUT it looks like Wisconsinites are splitting the ticket to give us a great Republican AG. Death penalty and no to same sex marriage will also pass.

This is absurd logic. Unless you give something for moderates to hold onto, they won't give you their support.

Gang of Fourteen.

Amnesty in the Senate and almost in the House.

High Spending.

McCain's constant attempts to sabotage the WOT by restricting what we can do.

CFR.

No ANWR.

Do I really need to continue? They damn well were catered to, and the net result is that they jumped ship. Meanwhile the Dems ran as conservatives to some success. Quite telling. It tells me my opinion that people like McCain are poisen to the GOP is correct.

That's how you and I see it. I'll admit, it's hard for me to see it any other way, but people out there are absolutely demoralized. Perhaps they weren't well grounded to begin with, but I don't think we really fought for them until the last few months. We should have been fighting for them from day one.

Tell me, who has been sounding the conservative clarion? Fiscal responsibility, defederalizing education, building UP the military (not downsizing), avoiding 'great society' level programs...

Some folks think this has been taking place, but I don't.
