Drudge Siren: ALLEN'S REVENGE: EXPOSES RIVAL'S NOVEL WRITINGS; UNDERAGE SEX SCENES
(Excerpt) Read more at drudgereport.com ...
Would you buy these books for your children? What grade in school should read them?
Nope. Gay rights, remember? 16 is the legal age of consent in Florida. It's perfectly legal for a queer to mount a 16 year old boy.
When the IM's were written, there were no Internet predator laws, either.
It was all Foley fantasy writing, and Webbs fantasies are 10 times worse.
No, we don't want to ban Steven King's books. But we don't want Steven King in the US Senate either.
That's mild compared to what the Democrats would like to see taught to children in grade school.
I agree with you. I think ALLen hads got unfairly bashed.
My concern is that ALLEN is not perceived by people that might enjoy such literature(that are like his books) as being called perverts by him.
Bill went down to campaign for him last week.
Bill Clinton also campaigned with Webb here in McLean. The WP had a picture of Webb with Bill standing behind him biting his lip. It is sad to see a genuine war hero like Webb prostitute himself in order to get elected. First he switched parties and now he appears alongside someone he once detested. Politics do indeed make strange bedfellows.
Birds of a feather.....
Look at the sick, twisted stuff he scribbled to make a buck.
Webb has no shame, no sense of personal decency. None.
If I had a son that 14 or 15 and he bought it I wouldnt be all upset. It appears to be nothing worse than the adventure books and hoor books me and my pals were reading. We all came out fine
In your estimation.
But then you think Webb is fine wholesome author.
In your estimation.
But then you think Webb is a fine, wholesome author.
You should be banned IMO.
Save your concern. Allen doesn't have to say much, just put the info out there. The WP has been acting as Webb's surrogate for months. I could care less about how the "literature" is perceived by those who enjoy it. It won't hurt Allen.
Oh it gets even better.
Clinton attended a fundraiser for Webb at the home of...Chuck Robb.
One blogger described it as "Women Can't Fight Us Off."
But don't you think even if this is good literature (and it may be), it's screwed up? It's always struck me that great novelists are a tad mentally unstable. How many great authors would you really want to be a senator? That does not mean they are not fantastic novelists...just that they are not particularly suitable for high public office.
If Webb was attacking Allen for obscure comments from his youth, why is it out of bounds to question what he has actually written and published? It just seems fair to me given the circumstances. And he is not saying that Webb is involved in this stuff, just that he wonders what kind of character conceives of such things.
If you'd let your teens read Webbs books, I'd have to say your last sentence is debatable.
If you have ever been to Bangkok, you can see such "entertainment" live. It is fact, not fiction.
You got to be kidding me. Banned. I am talking about simple campaign tactics. Thats all. There are other issues worth focusing on and this is a pandoras box. Also you are going to have ban the other folks on this thread that had misgivings about this tactic
