Prayers requested for our stalwart FReeper JulieRNR21 and her beloved husband Richard. Richard is scheduled for surgery midday Monday in Sarasota for removal of a malignant tumor from his stomach. Previously, Richard was treated quite successfully for lower GI cancer. This new tumor appears to be unrelated to the initial malignancy (different cell type).
Julie, we are keeping you and Richard in our prayers.

Thanks so much for alerting us. Prayers will be offered for Julie and Richard. It was so wonderful to hear he was doing well after his first bout with cancer...now this. Many, many prayers will be with these good people.
Julie, you and Richard are in my prayers. I am certain he will come through the surgery with flying colors. May God guide the hands of the surgeon and may Richard swiftly heal.
Prayers for successful surgery and healing.
My wife is a survivor of breast cancer so I know what it's like to be the spouse of someone going through this. It's easy to let a feeling of helplessness overwhelm you, but don't let it. You have your hands full being there to support your husband.
I also know the incredible support of all the prayers from fellow FReepers (it absolutely got me through that time) and I will be praying that not only will God totally take control of this situation, but that you will be able to physically feel the support and the effects of all the prayers offered up for you and your family.

You are faithful to answer the prayers of Your children. We confess that You are in complete charge of Richard's surgery and that Your wisdom will prevail as Your hands gently guide the surgeon. Help Richard and Julie to have the peace that passes all understanding as they faithfully trust in You to take care of all things. We exalt You, Lord, for nothing is too difficult for You and we confess that by the stripes of Jesus, Richard has been healed. In the Name of our Savior, Amen.
