Rush reports that a Cessna has been reported as crashing into (at least one) apartment complex in NYC Mannhattan's upper east side - on East 71st Street.
It seems like he did, the Yankees got rid of him quickly enough after it came out :)
LOL!
I bet you are right!
LOL...Bloomberg is such a poor, poor substitute for Mayor Rudy.
"Lots of suggestions of that on FreeRepublic, Bloomberg needs to check here before speaking."
That's exactly why we DON'T need people who are unfamiliar with FR coming here in emergencies... The amount of bizarre theories and un-thought out comments that pop up are almost becoming an embarassment.
That is just wrong.
Matthew has been giving him verbal oral for his presser...
Yeah, I heard that. But how does someone get their pilot's license with 75 hours of flight time?
You would think with all the terror attacks, bombings etc etc that have gone on in New York city for the past 40 years, we`d get at LEAST one that would be of great benefit! But nooooo! The New York times stands no matter what! lol!
Exactly What does this have to do with the real estate bubble?
Just one problem with your theory, you can't really call the Texas Rangers a baseball team after the all-star break.
Shep is unwatchable, so I went to CNN during that time, and they were begging for it to be a ratings boost with more to the story.
So the GovernmentShrinker is suggesting increased regulation in the interest of a little more increased security. The immortal words of Ben Franklin suddenly come to mind...
What I haven't seen mentioned is the amazing fire integrity of that building.
I watched the whole event, and as far as I could see, the (visible ) flames never spread beyond the apartments that were initially involved. From FDNY reports, all the folks above the two (or three) affected floors got out OK -- which means that the smoke was well contained, as well.
And now, they are already re-occupying the building. That sounds like one well-designed and built structure!
It was also interesting to see the water from the firefighters coming from the inside out. Those FDNY firefighters are some brave, tough dudes! Great jobs by the emergency responders on this one!!!
you didn't answer the question, so here it is again, a little slower and with an example:
School shooting. Children slain. Pandering politician calls for "stronger" gun control laws.
Do you support these sorts of calls?
Is this in any way different from what the Bo Dietls of the world are yapping about? If so, how?
Have a nice day.
Actually, according to the records landing in the water (crashing) is extremely survivable. Your characterization is incredibly inaccurate. You need to familiarize yourself with the NTSB records. I doubt I have ever read where anyone woke up with their lungs full of water.

I know the question wasn't aimed towards me, but I would say resoundingly NO. Can't believe people want freedom taken away from themselves and others so easily.
