Rush reports that a Cessna has been reported as crashing into (at least one) apartment complex in NYC Mannhattan's upper east side - on East 71st Street.

Heard on CNN just now that FAA and NYPD are saying it was a small GA, multi-engine plane.

NYC OEM reporting it was a helicopter. Debris from helicopter landed in 72nd Street after it hit the building on 72nd and York.

Given the fact we're all seeing this play out on national t.v. and the fact everyone is talking about it, lends credeance to the point that anyplace attacked on American soil is a "high profile target."

Seriously this could be an accident or it could be a copycat like the young muslim kid in Tampa who flew a light plane into an empty office building right after 9-11-01.

That kid was a mentally ill individual, not a Muslim fanatic.

I thought their October day was 10/12 (USS Cole, Bali). Local news said they don't yet know if this is terrorism. Usually they're very quick to say it isn't... or they don't say a word either way.
