Dear God...she might be right. If this is a true terrorist attack...we are in deep trouble...we will lose the election for sure. That was our golden ticket. If we lose that, the game is over. I so hope that the people are safe regardless.

If this was a terrorist attack, it doesn't help the Democrats. It's a very small aircraft and that would indicate that terrorists couldn't pull off anything with an airliner, so they had to go for a small craft from a small commutor aircraft which are impossible to secure because there are tens of thousands of them nation wide. If it was an airliner that would hurt Republicans, but IF it is terrorism, that tells me that airport security is so good, the terrorists had to go with a much smaller craft.

BUT that begs the question, why a relatively short building like this and not the Empire State or Chrysler buildings? They're much taller and national landmarks. I bet this was an accident. Hellicopters are tricky things and a BEAR to fly compared to any fixed wing aircraft, and any number of things on a helicopter can break and force that chopper down, and in NYC where so many tall buildings are, it's more likely then not that it was an accident. Might be terrorists, but as terrorist acts go, this would be pretty lame if this is the best they can do compared to 9-11.
