I figure they got this set up today and most likely it will be overnight for the banking systems to activate it. At least that is based on my personal experience with bank.

It is valid.

Funds have been set up, as have locations to send cards and notes expressing condolences to the families and friends of those slain and injured.

So far, LancasterOnline , the local papers website, has been my site of choice for most info. Other than talking with folks who have closer ties to the Bart Twp area than I.
