I’m hearing all kinds of disturbing, though predictable, stories about a Clintonista offensive against “The Path to 9/11,” an ABC documentary written and produced by Cyrus Nowrasteh ("Into the West"), and directed by David Cunningham ("To End All Wars"). I haven’t seen it yet (although I hope to this weekend), but it is already drawing rave reviews from people who have (the piece is reviewed at FrontPage, here).
Apparently, the documentary recounts the bureaucratic bungling and lack of action against al Qaeda that was pervasive prior to the September 11 atrocities. It is by no means, I understand, pro-Bush. It is, instead, an effort to present history accurately. This evidently has many former Clinton officials and apologists in their default kill-the-messenger mode. Great pressure is being brought to bear on ABC and Disney to reopen the editorial process at this late stage (the documentary is supposed to air on September 10-11) so that the years 1993-2001 may remain forever airbrushed.
Will they succeed? This bears watching.
Imagine them changing a story for Bush! Another fake story heading for the crapper!

Let them know we expect the uncut version of the series. American, for once, deserves an unbiased version from the MSM.
Fortunately, ABC 4 out here is pretty good and will, likely, help.
Their reporters offered fair coverage (and the best, IMO) of the left's protests during the Bush/Rummy/Condi visit to the American Legion. IIRC, they also rejected Sheehan's and the moonbat's TV adds last year.

I just sent ABC an email thanking them for airing this. I think it is a good idea to do so especially in the light that the rabid DUers are scatter bombing them with complaints.
Are you aware of the fact that"Dingy Harry"was dancing with glee last year when he thought he (and his fellow DemoRats)had dismantled The Patriot Act?Are you also aware that it was Ms.Gorelick who helped to erect the"firewall"between intelligence-gathering agencies which prevented them from"sharing"intel/info??What in the name of Almighty God was she doing on that panel???Damage Control????

Ignoring history and the lessons it teaches dooms us to repeat the same mistakes of the past that have caused us so much pain and heartbreak. Do NOT succumb to pressure from Clinton or his followers to censor this special. Respect the American people. We can handle the truth.
The Clintons ALWAYS overhype impending bad news....as worse than it will actually be...its how they leverage and control expectations.
