If so, what would it be? Work accident? or alternative nuke test site undergoing a calibration test?
First question would be location in regards to the suspected site where Japan believes a test is soon to occur. Unfortunately I'm not feeling well enough yet to try to figure the geography out. If this is in the area, then the second question needs to be asked, why so many explosions, as indicated in the article. If not mining, or demolition then possible calibration testing. If it is in the area where it is suspected that a test (when it happens) will take place, then I'd lean towards calibration testing.

Army Corps Engineers Warn New Orleans Levees May Not Hold in New Storm
The head of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers conceded Saturday that despite aggressive efforts to repair the levee system in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, it was unclear whether the it could hold up to a sizable hurricane this year.
Lt. General Carl Strock, the commander of the Corps, said the agency was carefully tracking Tropical Storm Ernesto, which was spinning in the Caribbean and projected to reach hurricane strength by Tuesday.
He was confident the Corps had done all it could to repair and reinforce 220 miles of levee walls, but he conceded he couldn't be sure whether the system would withstand Ernesto if reached Category 3 status and struck near New Orleans, as Katrina did Aug. 29, 2005.

An Al Qaeda chief is urging extremists to carry out more terror attacks against Britain ahead of the fifth anniversay of 9/11.
In a chilling message issued on the Internet, Abu Musab al-Suri has ordered terror cells across Europe to "awaken" and "move fast" over his calls to action.
According to reports, his rant has been posted on 20 Al Qaeda linked websites.
In it he says: "Let our sleeping cells wake, the war is at its apex. The enemy is about to collapse.
"We warn Britain: respect Muslim scholars in general or jihad people in particular. Doing anything to harm them and your country will pay a high price."
Al-suri, formerly of Neasden, North London, was caught in Pakistan last year and is thought to be held at a secret jail in America.
Al-Suri is not available, I believe, unless he has access to a computer somewhere.

I found the article interesting enough to post but questionable for the obvious reasons. The photo is obviously not Al-suri for one thing as Cindy also noted. I'll snoop around and see what I can find.
