The supreme military chief of Hamas wounded in a raid of Israel
JERUSALEM - the supreme chief of the branch armed with Hamas, Mohammed Deif, was wounded at the time of a raid of Israeli aviation close to Gaza, indicated to Wednesday morning a military spokesman in Tel-Aviv.
"Mohammed Deif was wounded in the night at the time of a raid of aviation against a house of Sheik Radwan, close to Gaza, but we are unaware of the gravity of its wounds", it specified.
A Palestinian medical source confirmed with AFP that Mr. Deif was wounded and operated.
According to the radio of the Israeli army, Mohammed Deif that Israel regards as its public enemy number one, was wounded whereas it took part in this house in a meeting with at least three other high military persons in charge for Hamas.
This raid was carried out following information obtained by Shin Beth (interior Israeli service of rensoignements) and with the personal green light of the Minister for Defense, Amir Perertz, the radio specified.
At least six people, including two children, were killed and about thirty wounded during this raid, according to a new established assessment of Palestinian sedentary source.
The victims perished when F-16 bombarded and demolished a house located at Sheik Redwan, in the north of the town of Gaza.
Rescue squads tried to release from other victims under the debris of the house of three floors.
Awwwww, that really breaks me up. Does anyone have a get well card for the gimpy terrorist?
Boom!
It is realy too bad he was wounded. Really too bad he wasn't blasted to fragments or burned to a crisp, that is.
This result is unacceptable. Try again with more aircraft.
They won't be sending this casualty to Israeli hospitals for better care. I hope he enjoys his side's medical care! With any luck he'll fare as well as the new Hamas greenhouse crops.
Ahhh, that's too bad. Yassin's wheelchair (aka missile magnet) is hopefully available.
Hopefully it will prove to be a fatal wound.
Very true, I don't see why they wouldn't send in another 5 or so missiles to make sure he dies.
How old were the "children" and what were they doing there, anyway
Use a bigger bomb the next time.
Aw well, at least the Israelis tried.
bttt
In the immortal words from Mel Brooks' The Producers, "quel dommage..." (applied very sarcastically in this case).
Are ye Deif boy? You hear me now Mohammed?
Soccer anyone?

Maybe they'll send him to France, like Arafat.
