Not suprising that even Tony Snow, the press secretary weighed in. In this post-9/11 age, a massive a natural gas explosion in a NYC building could end up creating rumors.

Correct, FP..the expolosion is the result of the build-up of gas, not because of the pressure in the lines.
Thats why NG & Propoane leaks are so deadly.
If the gas leak has been going on for any length of time all it takes is a light switch being turned on or a phone ringing.
I'm surprised no one smelled it though.

Why would a physician choose gas when he has so many other medical devices at hand to commit suicide? Word is he was involved in an ugly custody battle -- my guess, he not only wanted his death to be on his ex's conscience, but the deaths of many others too.

Based on my listening and reading of the posts here, it may be that the physican rescued from the debis and in the hospital is not the one who tried to blow up the building, if the story has any basis at all.

Yes, people told me that later. FDNY and ConEd got there right away, and that was exactly what they did.

I've said many times that officials would have told us 9-11 was a terrible airplane accident had it not been for that pesky 2nd plane and the one hitting the Pentagon and the one downed in Pennsylvania. And you are absolutely correct.

Morons like to repeat themselves.
And some post tripe reminiscent of the Clinton politics of personal destruction because they lack the mental capacity to carry on a discussion.

That's a really nice area... embassies there, and high-end townhouses.

All 3 of the cables seem to be pretty sure it was this guy.The one they rescued? Wow. If so, he obviously had a change of heart with him calling 911 from beneath the debris.

This part of Manhattan is like Beverly hills. Mostly the wealthy and VERY wealthy, but yes...largely residential.

They said the shooting at LAX a few years back on July 4th was not terror related. Six months later, they said otherwise. As to the Pentagon, isn't it a bit early to draw a conclusion as to the cause of the explosion?
