CAIRO, Egypt The U.S. airstrike that killed Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the leader of Al Qaeda in Iraq, was just a stroke of luck, according to a Web statement posted Tuesday in the name of the umbrella group for Iraqi insurgents.
The statement from the Mujahedeen Shura Council, or Consultative Council of Holy Warriors, was an attempt to discredit reports from the U.S. and Iraqi authorities that Zarqawi was known to be meeting key advisers at a house in a grove of palm trees north of Baghdad when U.S. fighter-bombers blasted the building last Wednesday evening.

Exactly!
What an AWESOME piece of luck!
But blowing up women and children because you can't flipping time a IWD correctly is "Allah's will." Gotcha.
Personally, I think it was Allah's will (MHBBTPMDIH)*.
(*May he be buggering the Prophet Mohammed Daily in Hell).
"(*May he be buggering the Prophet Mohammed Daily in Hell)."
LMAO! Best laugh of the day, so far!
President Bush, left, extends his hand as he is greeted by Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, right, during his surprise visit to the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq, Tuesday, June 13, 2006."
.
Mistah Zarqawi, he daid.
Way to go Delta, US Air Force, and Jordanian Security!!!!!!!!!
Good luck for our side and bad luck for the al Qaeda serial killer thugs.
Laser guided luck......
May the remaining brain trust of the Iraq franchise of Al Qaeda continue to share this view that it was just dumb luck.
If it was luck, it must have been "the will of Allah". How does that sit with the islamakazies?
Hmmm...I thought the concept of "luck" was blasphemous for a Muslim. I thought Allah was in control of everything.
Nope, it was 500 pounds of TNT. Then it a loud thunderous bang, followed by a big cloud of dust, with an intermitent shouts of AHHH SHHIII@##$$
Reminds me of the loser of an athletic contest who said: "The other team was lucky." Have you ever noticed that the well-prepared, more intelligent, and definitely dedicated "team" is "lucky" more often than the "unlucky" loser is?
Or...
"Never trade luck for skill."

Well, I'm a bit dismayed at the
reporter who punched up this
article for/by Fox!
At the beginning we read
the Council dubs Zarqawi's
death "a stroke of luck,."
putting words into the
Council's mouth. At the
END of the article, the
reporter uses an exact
quote wherein we find
"(Zarqawi's death) was just
a matter of fate..."
Now, there is a HUGE difference
between LUCK and FATE! On the
one hand, luck suggests the
Coalition forces just happened
upon info which led them to
the terrorist's digs. FATE
implies that Allah decreed
Zarqawi's days of action for
the cause were over.
A poor piece of reporting!
U.
They are right, it was luck. Of course I was always taught that luck is when preperation and opportunity cross paths; both of which you can make on your own.
