According to the news articles about his appearance with Bush at the Correspondents dinner he does the Bush stuff regularly on Leno. They didn't mention if that was the only place he did that particular bit.
At the end of the act Bush introduced him and claimed that Bridges had done most of the debates with Kerry. That was perhaps the funniest line all night.

I read somewhere last night that 90% plus of the plan participants were more than happy with the plan and were saving money.
The MSM will search diligently for the remaining 10%, who would not be happy with their lives for any reason, and interview them over and over as news, breaking news, latest news, hottest news, etc.
Watch for this to happen. The Democrats, therefore the MSM, can and will not be happy with any notice of success on the Medicare Drug Plan.
Doesn't sound like Hoekstra likes Hayden as a pick for the CIA Director
This is exactly why the Get Out The Vote efforts are important. Old media is making noises about Republicans staying home this year but it's just wishful thinking as they continue supporting Democrats.

Actually, I'd rather have clean government AND free speech. There's no reason for these to be mutually exclusive (unless you fall for the liberal mantra).

That kills me. He is being treated for pain pill abuse, but was on ambien at the time of the crash. Thats a sleep aid, not a pain pill. Ambien, believe it or not IS sought after for abuse. It sounds like Patches has more problems than than just pain meds.
This presents a difficult dilemma for me- I cant badmouth him for his troubles, as I have been in similar situations. But Im a firm beliver in The Steps. And if worked vigorously and often, one can change the behaviors that led to and sustain addiction. The massive humbling, the total surrender to the addiction this produces, lets one start over again. This wont earn me kudos here, but I hope treatment works for him. I believe that once someone tries to exorcise the demons that cause him or her to drink or take drugs, and does it wholly and completely, even a Kennedy can change. I just hope the treatment isnt a ploy to avoid prosecution..

Also if you are a party man/women you will automatically vote for that person. So in Republican/Democratic stronghold the incumbent will be re-elected unless there is a primary and they do not make it through the primary which I would think would be hightly unlikely.

Just a minor point. Biden's new plan is an "old" plan that was considered and rejected some time ago by the people IN Iraq who are making the decisions. Including the Iraqis themselves.
Biden is grasping at straws.... again.
There was a time when media was defending Bill Clinton for impeaching for lying under oath. Now MSM is encouraging and advocating democrats to do the same for our Prez. for what? They say that all it needs to do impeaching is getting a majority.
