Oh come on... There's debate right here on this thread, by FReepers who are very much American, indicating life in prison is a reasonable sentence as well as death.

The difference is in the jurors repulsive PC reasoning behind their decision. The jurors are a pathetic disgrace to this country.

I'm sick about this too but remember a few weeks ago this case was almost DISMISSED -when the prosecutor was coaching some of the witnesses.

That would have made me sicker !

They did not get it after all the gripping testimony and evidence. They will not get it spending time with him either. Sad isn't it.
