Todd Beamer's Dad has class.
He is disappointed, but stating it better than the words going through my brain.
To: Peach
EXACTLY! He'll have a sympathizer who will put him in touch with his buddies, also, and he can continue his mission against us infidels.

I think Aryan Brotherhood or some other prison gang may have something to say about how long he lives.

Wonder how long it'll take him to get his terrorist activities going in prison...
To: All
To those who want him kept alive, remember that Ramzi Yousef, the mastermind behind the 1993 WTC bombing is jailed in this country and preaches jihad from a jail cell and is in contact with terrorists around the world.
Double Bump!

Oh come on... There's debate right here on this thread, by FReepers who are very much American, indicating life in prison is a reasonable sentence as well as death. The difference is in the jurors repulsive PC reasoning behind their decision. The jurors are a pathetic disgrace to this country.
To: weegee
It'd be worth the cost, PROVIDED we never hear from again or about him.

David Beamer...Todd Beamer's father...is on Neal Cavuto speaking about the verdict....
..He is very gracious....BUT HE IS DISAPPOINTED WITH THE VERDICT!!!!
So am I!
To: antiRepublicrat
Don't get me wrong, dude deserves to die. I just didn't like the idea of giving him what he wants.I used to think that as well, but after much deliberation and a talk with an intelligent young man (my son), I saw the error of my reasoning quite some time ago.

Maybe his rommies in prison will take justice into their own hands. One can hope.

I'm sick about this too but remember a few weeks ago this case was almost DISMISSED -when the prosecutor was coaching some of the witnesses.
That would have made me sicker !
To: samadams2000
May I suggest that's a ridiculous scenario?
To: Diddle E. Squat
In my practice when a juror asks for a dictionary it means they are looking to nitpick out of the instructions.
Now he goes on to become a prison yard celebrity.

The blind sheik from the first WTC bombing-wasn't he able to communicate somehow from prison?
Yes. Through his attorney. She was later charged with carrying messages from him to others outside the prison.

Just what I was thinking too. The downward spiral just took a steeper angle to our demise.

They did not get it after all the gripping testimony and evidence. They will not get it spending time with him either. Sad isn't it. We can not protect our borders, properly fight a war or punish the wicked. A big thank you to all the secularists that have made us this way. Oh and happy Cinco De Mayo too.
