He's either an old man pretending to be a young kid, or he's a 29 year old liar. I think it's a safe bet to say he's the latter. LOL

An American jury won't execute the worst of the worst, who mocked the victims' families and wished us all dead. We are finished.

While we may not yet quite be finished, this verdict is something that ALL Americans need to take a close look at. The leftist agenda has won here. Won in a big way that undermines the very core of the war on terror from the aspect of US or THEM.

They plot to and do kill us and we spend more to care for them than about half the working population earns in a years time. If this trend continues the rule of law is indeed finished.

Hello,

Thanks for saying that, it needed to be said. Here, in St. Louis, our local FM talk station is going nuts over this, on a show (Dave Glover) that is not political, typically. Dave's point, and it is a good one, is that the American that believes as (most) of we do, he/she is too damn busy working to get out and counter this crap. I am willing to take off a day or two to save (or at least try) our country. How about all of you? Why not show our strength? This needs to be done, and NOW.

Troubled childhood? Good God, of all the explanations I thought would come out, that was NOT one of them. If we do not step up to the plate, forget it, party's over!!

Still glad to be here, with FRiends, MOgirl

Yes I do because I don't believe in executing people unless they committed murder.

Ok then... If I pay a man to kill your brother am I guilty of murder and thus a legit target of the death penalty?

Sure shows us all why W has been so resolved in the fight about determining these pukes "enemy combatants"!

Why, then, did he not order ZM executed?

It was obvious that ZM was an enemy combatant, an open and notorious one, since 9:03AM on 9/11/01.

As he was not in uniform and was caught behind our lines, he had no claim to Geneva Convention protection.

What he did was infinitely worse than the Germans caught on Amagansett Beach in 1942.

THEY were dead in a month.

What possible excuse does W have for allowing this farce to play out in the US civil courts?

Again, well put!

God's punishment is used by some death penalty opponents to say that we are not justified in executing murderers. Your post perfectly describes my feelings as to why we are justified in doing so.

"America, you lost!" Mr. Moussaoui shouted as he was led from the courtroom after the verdict was announced.

Only true thing this human turd has ever said in his life.

As the saying goes, I would rather see 1000 murderers go free than have one innocent be executed.

But what if those 1000 free murderers go out and each kill several more innocent victims?

In Texas, the poster child for the death penalty is Kenneth Allen McDuff.

McDuff was first sentenced to death in 1968 for murdering two teen-age boys and raping and strangling a 16-year-old girl. In 1972, the Supreme Court abolished the death penalty. His sentence was commuted to life in prison and he was released on parole 17 years later.

Making up for lost time, he started murdering again. In the early 90s, he was convicted of abducting and murdering two more women, but several other victims have been identified. Authorities believe he may have murdered as many as a dozen other people. He was finally executed in 1998, saving countless other victims.

I could accept life in prison as an alternative to the death penalty if it really meant life in prison. Too often, after 20 years or so, victims' families are gone and the public forgets. Then some parole board feels sorry for an old coot who has spent most of his life in prison and decides to turn him loose.

As to staying on topic, I must disagree with the jury on this one.

Nicew to meet you MOGirl. I am all kinds of game fora massive out in the streets march against all this foolishness.

The folks that see things in a realistic light are the ones that are busy at work working check to check. We are the ones that see the reality of things partially due to that fact.

IN the past most of us have reserved our protest time for the voting booth. That is where it really matters but it sure sppears that is not enough these days.

I am only a little over an hour from you here just outside the capitol of Illinois. Everyone I have talked to today is salty about this verdict and I would bet that is the case for most in between us too.

Something has got to give....and I fear it will be peace here that gives before the leftists take a realistic look at where their ideology is taking this nation.

It's sad to say this but, we're gonna have to change the way the jury votes count. With all the liberals and anti-death people, we may have to move to majority cast the deciding vote whether it be life in prison or the death sentence.

Why? Because he doesn't hold that power. That is for a jury wether it be of civilians or a military tribunal.

He indeed was captured inside the borders of this nation and the courts have now applied our constitution to those folks that are, wether they are citizens or not. Hence padilla being transferred to civilian custody. See the pattern? Does it scare you? I hope so, it should.

What excuse? How about the ACLU and leftist judges and lawyers that agree with them. You know, the crew that has made it almost impossible to direct enforcment of laws by creating excuses that somehow release personal responsibility.

I would agree to the majority rather than unanimous for verdicts. Sure seems to be given credability and validity when UMMMM those black robes come with a 5-4 decision.

This cat should have been executed to show the world how serious this nation is about deleting terrorism, and appeasement for it, from the equation of life on this planet in 2006 and beyond.
