This should be a list of who is planning to close their business on Monday, May 1 in response of the Great American Boycott. We should compile it and boycott them ourselves if possible!
Remember to go shopping or work overtime on May 1!

My drive times have been cut in half so far today. I love it! Could they boycott more often? Say.....everyday? Maybe really show us bad gringos y gringas by boycotting to the extent of moving back to Mexico?

It is, isn't it. Yet, that is common practice in the fields. Knowledge is important, even if it doesn't make you happy.
Most of the produce in your grocery store was handled, at some point, by illegal aliens. The rest was imported from Mexico and other countries. Watermelons don't grow here in the Winter, you know, nor do tomatoes, apples, etc.
Know the sources of your food.

Agree.
Just returned from the local deli run by a middle eastern immigrant. I knew he would be open today - he loves this country and is proud to be a citizen. His latino assistant was also there, I'm sure there was no paid holiday. Hopefully he will get more business today as all the local burrito shops are closed.

That's almost exactly my enchiladas recipe, too, except I warm my corn tortillas in a dry skillet, then dip them in the enchilada sauce to keep them flexible for rolling.
In some places in NM, they make "flat" stacked enchiladas that aren't rolled.

I've purchased and drank my last Corona! Was going to have a little mexican for lunch but decided to head to the local Big Boy. Now, I've got to go fill up my Super Charged 3.8 litre at an American owned gas station. Yes, it runs on premium and I'm okay with that.
