This should be a list of who is planning to close their business on Monday, May 1 in response of the Great American Boycott. We should compile it and boycott them ourselves if possible!
Remember to go shopping or work overtime on May 1!

I grew up in a small isolated Michigan village where "May day" was celebrated by making small baskets of treats and gifts and leaving them on someones doorstep.
It had nothing to do with Communism or anything like that.
I may be wrong, but I think someone is hijacking the original intent of mayday.

Is the economy in recession yet due to the boycott?
405 is moving like a Saturday per caller
He said he's on his way to shop (on Rush)
Saying he will be able to communicate in English
Store will be nice to shop at
Like it was years ago
Rush said they won't show up in fear of backlash
Will be interesting to see what ICE does, with thousands of illegals protesting again
Will a day without them have the affect they hoped for and if it doesn't?

The funniest thing I've seen lately... at the Stanford Shopping Center... that's right, just around the corner from Tiffany's, Cartier'r and Williams Sonoma Home is Max's Opera Cafe... home of the $12 burger with fries and $6 piece of cake. Closed today so as "not to put their employees in an awkward position." Seriously? Jobs American's won't do? I would have loved to work at this place when I was in college! great tips, walking distance to school... Of course, Yo no hablo espanol, so I'd be out of luck in Cali these days ;)

I have thanks ;) and it's been on the daily thread
I suggested we call the spanish radio station's and 'demand' they play Star Spangled Banner in English
Also the Shop today will show our economy will not crash but thrive

Reports are coming out from the store and restaurant owners in the Hispanic Echo Park area of Los Angeles that they have received threats from the illegal immigrant community. Hispanic business owners have been told to close their businesses to show support for the illegal immigrants or they may not have a business to go back to tomorrow.
Apparently the illegal immigrants have adopted a role model.
In the middle east, people are told to support fanatical Islam or their businesses will be burned.
Now, in the U.S. people are being told to support the illegal immigrants or their businesses will be burned.
The cry of the illegal immigrant community has been that they wanted to be seen as the same as everyone else.
If they continue this behavior their dream may become a reality and they will be seen as the same as everybody else . . . who practices terrorism.

What's the difference between Al Quata and the illegal foreign invaders?
Nothing. They both want to destroy Americas economy.
Should we legalize them both?

Just had my car inspected at a local Shell station in Northern Virginia, dealt with an Hispanic guy who had the bearing of "new owner" (last year the station was owned by some Middle Eastern guys, and for many years before that by a native American).
Anyway, the new guy was friendly, efficient, and obviously commander of his ship.
He was hard at work, clearly he had no time to boycott anything.

The left has recognized the border issue as a wedge issue and are exploiting it for all it's worth - it's worth a Senate majority at the least - and too many alleged conservatives are siding with the Democrats on an issue which the Democrats will do NOTHING about if they do obtain a majority.
Unfortunately, any reasoned debate which may bear positive changes is hijacked by the rabid fence builders who think the solution is to live in a hermetically sealed society. Trying to reason with the debate hijackers is an exercise in futility.
It's interesting that this same groupd of rabid fence builders was quiet during the Clinton administration....as though we had no illegals sneaking in before GHW Bush. That's the Tancredo-ites trying to Perot any future Republican candidate, nothing more or less.

May 1st has been a spring holiday of some form or another for a long time. As Christianity grew in popularity it got overshadowed by Easter but some rural areas (and a handful of non-rural areas) of Europe and America have continued to have various celebrations to this day. The commies tried to take it over in the 20th century and kind of succeeded since they have the most well known May Day celebration. But not everybody celebrating May Day is a commie.
Also folks should remember that Monday is a fairly standard day for fancy restaurants to be closed. There's a host of non-commie and non-immigration related reasons for businesses to be closed today, do a little research before you start your boycott.

What happened to all the AMERICAN flags?
Most offensive poster I've seen.
Minutemen you minute is up.
Notice how now matter which channel you watch, they may point out the flags, but no one I've heard yet is discussing the signage!

Tyson posts second quarter loss
Tyson Foods Inc., the Springdale-based meat processor, announced Monday it lost $127 million in its second quarter, citing oversupply in its beef, chicken and pork operations and charges for previously-disclosed plant closings.
Great News!
