Where are the American flags?
Do we want to deport them? I don't think we deport felons, we prosecute them. More expense.
Recently, in a neighboring county, sheriff's deputies picked up two illegals with lots of drugs. The two evidently had beaten up each other in a fight and needed medical attention.
The sheriff's department thought it over and in the end, released the illegals because the county could not afford the medical bills.
We have problems.
I want to make it illegal for any lawmaker to vote to provide free education, medical care, or other protections to illegals. This is causing the REAL magnet attracting them. Don't blame it on business until government is ready to clean up their act and it ain't gonna happen. RATS need the votes more than business needs the cheap labor.
Probably one of the National Council of Churches members. They're all a bunch of Democrats.
My thinking exactly!
Sounds good to me.
I can think of only one reason to fly all the mexican flags.
They don't want to become U.S. citizens, they want the U.S. to become mexico.
The cost of this wave of illegal humanity in terms of money and crime is rapidly destroying America....Meanwhile, the hollow suits in Washington fumble and mumble.
I've always liked Mexicans. Our attitude would be much different if they would come here legally. I still blame liberalism for this.
Why do you believe no illegal immigrants come from Central America?
"where are the American flags?"
Precisely the point. The American flag means nothing, nada, zilch to these leeches. Yet, the demand "their rights" in a country they wish to suck dry.
As ClaireSolt pointed out " There are probably thousands of laws that you ignore because you don't even know about them." That's probably true, but as a citizen, I'm probably more likely to be prosecuted for one of them because I AM a (taxpaying, employed) citizen.
Do you have any insight on how the law applies this element of equality to citizens vs. non-citizens? Is the Equal Protection clause even relevant (I speak from ignorance here)?
And for the record, if we ever are presented with the choice, I'll join Alex W - I'll choose not to pay taxes, at least until they cover ONLY what's constitutionally mandated.
I didn't say make them felons.....I just said truck all of those who are here illegally to the Mexican side. Perios.
There is absolutely no other solution to prevent America from drowning in debt and crime because of these people.
Close the borders now, build the fence and enforce the laws that are already on the books.
That's where we should start tomorrow. Then we need to identify the illegals that are already here and figure out what we need or want to do with them. What ever we do, it is the sole choice of the American citizens. Americans will make the choice of what our government does, not Mexicans, and not Mexico!!!!!
We do not need any more authority or new laws to enforce the ones we already have. No matter what congress does there is something that can be done right now.
SHUT THE BORDER DOWN NOW AND STOP MAKING THE PROBLEM WORSE!!!!!
