Below are the first results of the research project! We would like to improve on the project by adding occupations to the chart below. The occupations listed in each type code will not be associated with Freeper handles. If you would care to share that information, please post your code and occupation, e.g. INTJ - physicist. If you don't want others to know your occupation, you could send either Nita Nupress or me a Freep mail with the information. Thank you all so very much for participating in this project! If you'd like to be listed in the next update, please take the test and let us know your code and scores:
When you take over the world, can I at least have a high position in your dictatorship? ;-)
I think I have the perfect position for you!
I'm an engineer
I can live with that. :-)
Really, I'm not sure about the "intellectual" part, but I won't argue with it... lol.
The next part really fits all of us:
The most important thing to INTJs is their independence and being able to live according to their own standards.
That must describe almost everyone on FR.
Really? And what position would that be?? ;-)
That's me, except image conscious and snappy dresser.
Well, maybe not, because sometimes I clash intentionally, to make a statement that I'm so comfortable about myself, that I don't care what you think about what I look like, I'll wear something to attract attention to that. But I guess that's still put together. Hmmm...
But I wouldn't call it snappy.
Thanks for the added info...but really, to be like Bill Clinton! ACK! :-O
After 15 years of marriage my wife should of figured that commo tip out by now. Oh well...gotta love her 8>)
"The most important thing to ESFJs is their relationships and helping people in real, and practical ways."
So, this is no doubt why and how Slick Willie was/is able to "keep" Hillary -- he helps her with her ambitions, which far outweigh anything else, at least for her.
Bill Clinton is one of us? I missed that piece of
information.
Famous ISFJ's:
Robert E. Lee
Queen Mary I ("Bloody Mary") of England
Interesting company!
So what were your results?
Introverted Intuitive Thinking Judging Strength of the preferences % 67 12 75 33
The complexity of ANY human being is impossible to categorize. At least half of the answers cannot be explained with a simple yes or no.
For instance, I am overall an extravert by nature, but I am also often introspective, and not a partygoer. I would rather spend an evening with one or two friends and their wives/ladyfriends than attend a big party. The test does not allow for this, rendering it meaningless.
Sometimes? ;-)
Those of you that are taking the Kiersey test after taking the Jung test - the page comes up just telling you if you are an Idealist, Guardian, etc. and it tells you the four types but doesn't tell you which of those types you are. If you go to the personal page where it shows you the locked reports you can buy, it has a place next to the little lock that says sample report. If you click on that it will tell you exactly which one you are. Both of mine matched INFJ.
Only in antiques stores and on eBay.
;-)
I think you'll be pleased and surprised, that it not only does accommodate that, but that the description of your identified caracteristics is surprisingly comfortable and familiar. It's like going to a good tailor after habitually buying things off the rack.
Just try it, then quibble. Inquiring minds, and all that.
These are always fun! I have also noticed that I tend to change "types" at different points in my life. The "SF" mostly stay the same..but at some points in my life I have been more extroverted and other times more introverted. Also the Judging/Perceiving score changes sometimes.
