Heck, I've been in most of the day. Walked to the mailbox, about 20 yards, came back in and was 130 posts behind.

Whoever said schumer is good is way wrong. He is retarded with his charts and gotcha approach to his questioning.
Absolute jackass.

Cornyn is the man. If I was in need of a good attorney to , I would want him at my table. He is going to take Schumer to the woodshed.

Why I can see this across the Atlantic and a bunch of Democrat Senators can't is something of a mystery to me.There are none so blind...

President Bush deserves immense credit for his outstanding nominations to the federal courts, including the Supreme Court.

It's somewhat curious that a man of Judge Alito's education and intellect has to submit himself to be questioned by so many total buffoons. Yes, more than curious. Our founders never envisioned this nonsense. In the early Republic, most nominees were confirmed the day after the president nominated them, depending on the time of year. It might take a few days or weeks if Congress was out of session.

AMEN! I am sick of it too!
but if Alito would have jumped in and acted all excited with Lindsey's trail.....they would have nailed him as already being decided....partisan, etc....
Lindsey said..."I tried to get you to join me, and you didn't, and I am glad you didn't."
He knew EXACTLY what he was doing- and then even made sure that everyone took note of what just happended....
BRILLIANT!

I hope you are correct. That exchange was the real first question I had - he just looked squirmish. Of course, the slippery slope was possibly in play and maybe that was why.

I would have said "gee Chuckie, you and stare decisis should get a room." Maybe that's why I'm not a judge.
