It is now getting dark in Paris and in all of France(appx. 6:40 PM Paris Time), and if there are any French FR lurkers(lurquers), this may be the thread to post your reports about any further violence.
It seems the French govt. is impotent in it's response to what seems are jihadist thugs and it seems the American media has put a news blackout filter to what is really happening, so as not to embarass their heroes, Chirac et al.
So any news reports or personal reports from what happens tonight are welcome, and don't worry about broken English, reports in French are welcome also, I have no doubt someone can translate.
I really dread putting up a live thread about such a matter, but it seems that the American MSM is following French govt. orders to play down to what it seems is an insurrection.
I think you put an extra "not" into your last sentence just before "akin."
So it's taken the MSM 10 full days to craft a twisted liberal angle for this - now they can start reporting and even mention that the insurrectionists are Muslims - because now they can make it all fit. They can blame us. Perfect.
I'm not being sarcastic. That's my point: the MSM doesn't carry the message about Democrat candidates, so we need a non-partisan commission to publish the truth about people like Bill Clinton and Kerry.
You are fortunate not to have any domes... yet. When I take off from my airport, you can see them gleaming off the landscape. Every time I fly, there seem to be more of them.

HOW DID YOU KNOW I WAS THINKING THAT!
Bumpin' your link because it's good, and so I can come back to it.
let's all email FNC about Herridge's comment. These infobabe bimbos are a dime a dozen, they will toss her off the air if they get enough complaints.
Basically I think it is a french word for arabs born in France.
A fast-food joint where the trouble started in France uses "beur" in their name and as play on the American Burger King.
We've got them. http://phoenix.citysearch.com/find/directory/phoenix/210/393/page1.html?init_search=1

WE ARE THE COMMISSION. Thanks to the internet and alternative media, the truth is getting out there. It's not just Rush and Hannity anymore. It's us, the EMilitia!
The issue as I see it is a question of weather we here in the United States will learn anything from what France is now experiencing. And secondly, whether we will have learned it in time to save our country.
beur Noun, masculine (a) (Slang, verlan, pej) Arab, Paki (Slang, very pej)

Thank you. Isn't that so typically french, expect everyone to know what you mean, no explanation offered.
You've got domes? You just gave me Ze gooses bumps. They're here. We need to be ready.
You will have to ask Vicomte13. Apparently the youts who are torching cars are called that. I was just trying to accomodate some vernacular.
I am imagining that these particular youts all look like the folks who hijacked 4 planes on Sept 11 - but that is just my imagination gone wild! If vicomte13 says that we should not attach any connection to the religion of peace to them, then I say fine. Tell me more.
Thanks again for your opinion. But, despite your viewpoint, just from the reading I've done in the last few days (accepting the fact that everything available all has to be taken on faith with several grains of salt, since I am not there, haven't studied up the situation, etc), it seems inconceivable that Islam has no place in this violence at all.
You state that just because a French person is baptized in a church doesn't make him a Catholic, so just because most if not all of those rioters were born into Muslim families doens't make them Muslim. The problem is that the character of Islam is very, very different than the character of Catholicism in particular or Christianity in general. At any rate, the situation is one which doesn't seem to have a solution, either immediate or long term.
Sally whatshername at Fox is another. A year or so ago she was spending a few days reporting out of DC and kept calling the President by his last name. Bush this and Bush that. A lot of them do it but she really grated on me. I don't remember any reporter calling clinton anything but President Clinton during his fiasco of a reign. And to this day the MSM never misses a chance to call him President Clinton.
