BOBIGNY, France (Reuters) -- French Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy defended his tough crime policies on Monday after a fourth night of riots in a Paris suburb in which tear gas was fired into a mosque.
Sarkozy, addressing police officers, vowed to find how tear gas had been fired into the Muslim place of worship, an incident which had helped fuel the disturbances.
Youths hurled rocks and set fire to cars in the northeastern Clichy-sous-Bois suburb of the French capital, where many immigrants and poor families live in high-rise housing estates notorious for youth violence.
...snip
French television said six police officers were hurt and 11 people arrested in violence partly fueled by the incident at the mosque. Sarkozy promised an inquiry.
"I am, of course, available to the imam of the Clichy mosque to let him have all the details in order to understand how and why a tear gas bomb was sent into this mosque," he told about 170 police officers at the prefecture.

Interesting point, but I must say, there is a certain logic to inserting immigration into every post.
Kind of like Cato the Elder ending every single oratory in the Roman senate with "Carthage delendo est."
"and that is how the tax rates in the forth district should be emplaced and Carthage must Die."

France, and Denmark today, Dearborn tomorrow?
Perhaps then someone will have to honesty and courage to admit that this IS a Crusade vs Jihad.

REF: The USA had better wake up to our own Muslim problem. It's not just Ahmed at the 7-11, but also these homegrowns running with Farrakhan.
The time for the President to Lead is now, and there is no room for him to call Islamo-Fascists the "Religion of Peace". There is no room for him to ignore the Loose Borders of the USA. There is no longer time for ignoring the Illegal Immigrant problems which are turning into a National Scandal.
It is time for President Bush to Lead or get off of the Pot!

This is what happens to countries that allow Muslims to immigrate into their countries and then ignore the problems associated with them. They do NOT assimilate into other cultures and they are there to basically take over, period . . . make no mistake about it.

Believe someone posted yesterday that it will be in 2020.

We're not sure--it's never been tried before. ;)
Except those 195,000 French casualties in the Battle of the Somme (just one of many battles in WWI). But somehow we always seem to forget that France lost a generation of men in the massacre that was WWI. That tends to leave quite an impression on the psyche of a nation.

Where is Inspector Clouseau when you need him?
I think he's been very active in setting French policing policy from the looks of it.

Same in England. My sister visited last summer and couldn't wait to get out of London and its overwhelming number of Muslims.
To: adamsjas
My brother-in-law is French and grew up there, he came here to teach at a University and became an American citizen after he married my sister, just so he could vote for Democrats. But even he said that the muslims in France are impossible to live with--no one wants to rent to them because they are filthy and trash the property, and refuse to pay the rent. Then they turn around and sue and claim they are being discriminated against. They are arrogant, violent, and abuse non-islamic women with impunity. This is what you get when you allow the islamic inmates to run the asylum; let us pray we will not reach this point in the US. A nation of dhimmis is a nation of slaves to islam.

Thanks for the link. Some years ago I heard about all the money going into Muslim child care (tax-free) organizations where the money was going to support terrorism. Nobody believed me when I talked about it. I still get a "deaf ear" response to this day. Stop hitting the snooze button America.

Actually, I think the Brits did they dying at the Somme - you're probably thinking of the half million or so that died at Verdun.
