CBS REPORTER TO WHITE HOUSE: ALITO 'SLOPPY SECONDS?' Mon Oct 31 2005 11:26:56 ET
CBSNEWS Chief White House correspondent John Roberts described the Presidents selection of Judge Samuel Alito as sloppy seconds during todays press gaggle with White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan.
John Roberts: So, Scott, you said that -- or the President said, repeatedly, that Harriet Miers was the best person for the job. So does that mean that Alito is sloppy seconds, or what?
Scott McClellan: Not at all, John.
Sloppy seconds is described in the United Kingdoms A Dictionary of Slang as:
Noun: A subsequent indulgence in an activity by a second person involving an exchange of bodily fluids. This may involve the sharing of drink, or more often it applies to a sexual nature. E.g. Im not having sloppy seconds, I want to shag her first.

Porky's Reporter...........
More proof that the devil is alive and well and resides well within the bowels of the media.
CBS stands for "Controlled by Satan".
Anyone got an email address? We should complain about Roberts. Not to be too much of a prude but that the White House press conference shouldn't be the place for such gutter characterizations.... OK I'm demagoging but don't think the Dems wouldn't do it.
I wonder what that makes CBS News since they're in last place in the ratings?
He looks gay...........
Bill Clinton nominates Janet "Sloppy Seconds" El Reno after his first nominee, Kimba Woods, withdrawls.
Roberts should be expelled from the White House press corps.
First, we have Dean, in reference to Miers disclosing legal documents dealing with internal White House issues, saying that he didn't think Bush and Miers should "play hide the salami" with the records, and now we have a White House correspondent using the term "sloppy seconds" when referencing Miers withdrawal and the naming of Alito. And these are the people who truly believe they should be in charge.
Somehow I suspect that 'seconds' is about as fresh as she gets.
Actually El Reno was THIRD!!!!
Wasn't Reno the 3rd pick?
[I remember one Clinton appointment went through 3 before succeeding in an appointment. I thought it was the AG appointment.]
As if Monday mornings weren't difficult enough, now you nuke it with that unbelievably mind staining visual...
Now it's time for more resignations/firings at CBS News. It's time for CBS's Chief White House correspondent John Roberts to go.
Or at least, "Why am I not surprised that someone from CBS would ask such an insulting and undignified question? Next..."
McClellan commands no respect and therefore, the press runs all over him.
Dear friends

thank you all be strong good persons!!!
He looks like a Dan Rather clone.
Yuck, I've never heard that definition for 'sloppy seconds' before.
Didn't CBS's John Roberts fail to even qualify for 'sloppy seconds' when it came to replacing Dan Rather?
